Just letting you know, this story will probably be more appropriate in the "Member Art and Writing" section of the forum. As for the story itself, you really know how to make a guy nostalgic, Spacey. I thought StarFox Adventures was a simply passable game, but I really liked the music in it, and the palace them was my favorite by far. Good use of the music. The first chapter was short, but it made its point. Looking forward to the next. Also, you mentioned that the plot revolves around the Mage hero in DA:O if Duncan didn't visit the circle. Is this because he visited one of the potential wardens of the other origin stories? Also, I wanted to thank you, Spaced. With all this writing, you've pretty much restored my resolve for continuing Cyan Steel after a long hiatus. If you can hold your incredible enthusiasm, then I certainly can too.

And I should thank you, Call, for all your wonderful reviews. It's been an absolute pleasure to read you're reactions to my work. I'm still pretty new to this stuff, and Blood of the Magi has been a glint in my eye for a very long time. Duncan is off at highever, saving the Cousland from a grisly fate at the hands of Howe. I'll move blood of the Magi when I have a chance. Delete the original and move it to the correct thread. As for the music, that's the tune I always play in the Circle tower when I'm playing dragon age.

Believe me. I'm always willing to give a decent writer the feedback he deserves. Speaking of which I'm going to start carrying my reviews over to ff.net in addition to the ones here, just because I think it would be neccessary considering that most of your feedback comes from there anyway. Also, a bit of a shameless plug in a way: I'm starving for more feedback for Cyan Steel. It's hardly the focus for my fanfics, but reviews are like seasoning on the steak. You don't mind helping a bloke out do you Spaced?

Pretty good second chapter! I never actually played the mage origin, so this is news to me. Nice choice of music, as usual.
I should also mention that you make incorrect use of homonyms quite often. Using "you're" in the place of "your" and other such things.

And it's go!!!
and it's long!!!!
maybe too long!!!!
but I'm also quite fond of Finn, that guy just writes himself.
Oh, and the inspiration for the whole story-to-be is this:
I like to think of it as Layla's Song.
Deep in the ocean, dead and cast away Where innocence is burned, in flames A million mile from home, I'm walking ahead I'm frozen to the bones, I am...
A soldier on my own, I don't know the way I'm riding up the heights of shame I'm waiting for the call, the hand on the chest I'm ready for the fight, and fate
The sound of iron shots is stuck in my head, The thunder of the drums dictates The rhythm of the falls, the number of dead's The rising of the hoards, ahead
From the dawn of time to the end of days I will have to run, away I want to feel the pain and the bitter taste Of the blood on my lips, again
This deadly burst of snow is burning my hands, I'm frozen to the bones, I am A million mile from home, I'm walking away I can't remind your eyes, your face.

Not sure what you're referring to, Yellow.
Either I'm not getting a reference or I haven't been playing enough Dragon Age.
