The finale for Doctor Who. I'm a big sucker for alternative realities. Winston Churchill being the Holy Roman emperor of the World, Charles Dickens doing a talkshow itnerview about his new Christmas Carol novel he's writing, Flying dinosaurs being pests like pigeons...love it hehe

Anyone here check out The Borgias yet? www.imdb.com/title/tt1582457/Based on Pope Alexander VI. Yes THAT pope Alexander. Starring Jeremy Irons at his smug snake best. I have never so easily identified with so vile a figure in human history as I did with his portrayal. Really good show.

Based on Pope Alexander VI. Yes THAT pope Alexander. THIS Pope Alexander? No, I haven't seen it yet, but it was on Sky Atlantic recently, and i've heard good things about it, so I might give it a go. (I'm still debating whether to watch series 1 of Game of Thrones before I read the second book.)

Yes, that Pope Alexander. Apparently he was the inspiration behind The Godfather as well. I'm certain it plays a little fast and loose with history but the show is very well done.
The only other actor I can think of who could have carried off the role would be Alan Rickman.

Obi-Wan Kenobi on drugs is awesum! Currently watching Terra Nova. It's not bad but....i think Spielberg lost his edge.

"Warrior's Way" Loved the film style and the action, but did not like the ending. What the film portrays as courage was truly cowardice, and that annoys me.

Watched The Pillars of the Earth this weekend. Want a real trip? Watch this and look on in confusion as Rufus Sewall's character rarely does anything dishonorable or evil.

Watched the first episode of the second season of "The Walking Dead".
Not sure what to think about it, since I was somewhat (or very) intoxicated while viewing it.

The first 30 minutes were some of the best of any zombie show/movie. Very tense stuff. Nothing really happened after that. o.O

Nah, it wasn't bad at all. Good way to kick off the season. I think it was actually 90 minutes, though, so I must have gotten into it.

I had way too much free time this weekend and watched the entire first season of Battlestar Galactica.
Now I just have to get the second and third seasons back from my grandma...

I still haven't watched Season Four of BG yet (er, 4.0 and 4.5 as my DVDs tell me). Watched the last episode when the show went off the air, and I'm not sure I'll ever know how the series went from post-apocalyptic/military sci-fi to a metaphysical allegory about the nature of the universe.
Love the show, just didn't see that coming. xD
