Good news! I don't even watch Doctor Who anymore, now that they've managed to find a doctor I hate even more than the last one. I think nowadays the show is lazy and caters too much to children.
But - I did recently see that one with the siren, and I was really impressed by the concept and story arc of the show. I got very jealous, which happens with good SF - the amateur writers like some of us look at the twist and go, 'fuck, I wish I'd thought of that!'
This can only be good, though. I love the Daleks - it's a shame to see how watered down they're getting. I really think the Christopher Eccleston series made excellent use of them by inventing the 'time war' idea so as to make their reappearence really mean something, on a story level and a personal one with that fantastic ninth doctor..
I know I've posted this masterpiece before, but...

David Tennant was good! Nowhere near as good as Eccleston and too cheesy even for Doctor Who, but he was still good! I've only seen like two or three Matt Smith episodes. The one with the angels (Okay, but nowhere near as good as the Tennant episode they first appeared in) and the WWII one with the new look Daleks (which was terrible). Don't really know what to make of Matt Smith. He seems a bit similar to Tennant. Bring The Master back, I say, and give John Simm a few episodes that weren't as bad as the five he appeared in.
