We'll disagree on the sense of everyone leaving. My list was more about what should logically happen than what will. Only Shepard nuked the Batarian system. Shepard is the only one they want. Likely they'll all be gone in the game but I'd say only the criminals really have anything to fear from the Alliance.
2 Years after Eden Prime Geth are still very much a hot button topic. Kinda like Al-Qaeda. Poor legion would be reduced to spare parts for geth research before you can building consensus.
Liara's voice actor annoys me too. I still think that's the possibility that makes the most sense and most likely to happen.

Liara really is incredibly monotone. Which is exceptionally weird considering her actor also voiced Doctor Hanson from StarCraft II, who had considerably more personality to her voice.

OK OK now that it's been pointed out to me I can hear it. She can act I guess but you know a box of crackers has added personality next to one of the biggest badasses in space. Jim Rayner is the Badass Shepard wishes s/he was. *ducks thrown objects* I'll recant that that when I see Shepard take take down someone in full power armour without the use of Biotic or weapons.

I really liked Liara's personality (in the first game - as far as I'm concerned the Liara in ME2 is a different character) and the way she was played Also, does this actor play anything other than attractive young doctors?

How was he even smoking with such thick fingers? I'm no expert on anatomy, but I don't think a man's hand is supposed to be six times the size of a packet of cigarettes.

If you have seen Blizzard's models in the diablo and Warcraft franchises, be gratefull they didnt change the human anatomy that much in Starcraft II.
You may call me crazy...but I want an Elcor party member, if just for shits and giggles. He could be like an tank or something, I dunno.
Elcor party member: Witty Banter; That one should have kept...a head. Shepard; Not funny Elcor....
Or Blasto the Spectre would be dope...
On a serious note, I hope Grunt or another Krogan shows up as a party member shows up as a squad mate, they are the Worf to Shepard's Captain Sisko.

So, I've been thinking about this: Since there are no new romance options in Mass Effect 3, who do you guys think will be the bisexual romance options?
I was thinking they might try and pull a Dragon Age 2 and make all four of the formerly single sex romance options bisexual, but, well, look how that turned out.
Failing that, my money is on Ashley/Kaidan (seeing as how they were both planned as bisexual romance options).

I don't even know where to begin speculating so here's my hopes.
Garrus - Is with you from the begging. He doesn't know what he wants to do with his life (thats my justification for him not joining the SPECTREs and becoming a freelance merc) He figure Shepard is pretty bad ass. And these Reapers are pretty intense. So he'll stick around to see how that all plays out. Then contemplate his future over a pint of blue beer.
Wrex - Not actually a squadmate, more like an airstrike. I'm thinking a few missions he'll show up with a pack of hard-ass Krogan and plow a path through heavy resistance for Shepard. When and where I don't care. I just want to see Wrex messing dudes up.
Liara - A stripper. Naw j/k I don't really care I don't like what they did with her in ME2.
Tali - Dead from complications due to sexing Shepard. I would ROTFL. But she'll probably be back on the Flotilla writing cheesy romance novels.
Miranda/Jacob - Who cares?
Thane - Dead. Or really, really, really sick. Possibly hooked up to life support.
Grunt - Informing people that he is a Krogan. Probably on Tuchonka. Driving a Tonka. Working for Willy Wonka.
Ashley - Bringing Jesus to the Volus. Imagine a Volus pope. Awesome.
Kaiden - Joined the cast of Jersey Shore.
Legion - Obviously has a crush (or equivalent) on Shepard so I bet he'll be around fairly early on as well.
Jack - Dead from a Heroine overdose while listening to Lincoln Park and watching Twilight. Or, you know, something else that's all edgy and dark.
DLC - You get an e-mail asking for a letter of recommendation
New Buddys: Fred the Vorcha - Fred (name is placeholder) lives on Omega and is a 'graffiti artist' turned merc. This is never fully explained because.. well because. He has ADD and can only use a flamethrower.
Experimental Volus Biotic - No explanation necessary
Krognan the Elcor - One of the few Elcor warriors, Krognan uses a Gravity Hammer. Or Master Sword. Just a really big melee weapon.
BLASTO! why not?
A Reaper - Because no one would see that coming. Nor would you be able to trust it. But he's all "The cycle must end. It does not compute. Also you seem to be winning so I'm bailing on their plan."
Also I want one of those purple monkeys as a pet on my ship. To hell with space hamsters and fish. Also make it a romance option for those who haven't romanced any thing else yet. That would be awesome.
I get weird vibes just saying 'Mass Effect 3'. I'm not sure what to expect. ...nor do I know what else to say.

Actually, the information there won't be new LIs has been canned. There will be new LIs.
Still, some former squadmates may turn out to be bi. I mean, the subtext with Tali already is very heavy. It's basically text already. Anything apart from that is guesswork. There is the ME 1 cut content speaking for Ashley and Kaidan, and Garrus seems to be Shepard-sexual anyway going by his ME 2 romance arc... but neither is inevitable.

Actually, the information there won't be new LIs has been canned. There will be new LIs. Oh great. There's already more than a half a dozen love interests and they still want to cram more of the buggers in? A character's love interest status subsumes their role in the plot in BioWare's recent games, too, so we can be looking forward to more dead weight, I guess. I'm caring less and less about Mass Effect 3 the more I hear about it. Roll on Skyrim and more High Elf pimpery, I say!

Skyrim? Bah, after Oblivion I don't care for Elder Scrolls any more, and by all indication Skyrim will get even more dumbed down. Nah, ME 3 so far sounds promising. If, of course, they actually keep those promises.
And why not new LIs? Say, two bisexual new LIs, same-sex relationship problem closed. *shrugs*

Having actually went back and played Morrowind, all I can say is that if dumbing the series down means whatever I hit with my sword will actually take damage, I'm all for it!

It's character-based combat instead of player-based combat, which I think is quite appropriate in an RPG.

Well, if it's character based, I take it all back. That makes perfect sense. The melee combat in Morrowind really is good(!)
Seriously, though. I'm enjoying Morrowind for the lore and atmosphere, but the combat and navigation are beyond horrible. Like this one quest I had to find a mine, that took me hours because they only give you map markers for the cities and very vague directions to everything else.
And really, who has to charge up a sword before every swing like it's a laser beam?
