I'm glad I'm not alone in that, JK!

The automap function for both Fallout 3 and New Vegas are shite. It should be broken down by level, but I guess that would make too damn much sense.

Double-agreed! You're all right.

Agreed. Let's hope they sort it out for Skyrim!

Come to think of it Oblivion's was shite too. Maybe Bethsoft just does not know how to do it right. I don't feel like installing Morrowind to see what the mapping was like there. Probably the same.

I have been playing "Morrowind" (again) and haven't had that problem. I haven't gotten around to going through "Oblivion" again, though I know I can't stand the vaults in "Fallout 3" due to the mapping.

To be fair, the Vaults in Fallout do have quite a lot of in game directions, signs and the like to help you navigate.

And key only doors and collapsed tunnels as well. Signs do little good when they lead to rubble.

That bit in Garrus' ME2 sidequest where you help him kill Sidonis. The paragon option, where you talk him down, get him to give up on revenge is brilliantly written, and probably my favourite scene in the game. If you just let Garrus kill him, however, it's a bit less impressive.
Shepard steps aside, allowing Sidonis to see Garrus with his sniper rifle. Sidonis then goes "To hell with this!" and casually strolls off for 5 seconds before Garrus kills him. He doesn't even try to run! He just walks, really slowly, away!

I've been playing ME2 again, and the first planet that I explore claims to be tidal locked, but it's still spinning in the animation! What the frak!

I've been playing ME2 again, and the first planet that I explore claims to be tidal locked, but it's still spinning in the animation! What the frak! I got this one. You are not actually seeing the planet though like a a window, more like some holographic projection of it. And I think it is a rule that all holographic projections of planets in sci-fi spin, whether they should or not.

That's...
You just made up that rule! Holograms don't spin, just like dogs can't look up.

He does have a point...
While we're on Mass Effect 2, there was a moment I realised I could never like it as much as Mass Effect 1. That moment was when I read in the journal 'Samara's daughter has a genetic defect that makes her kill people during sex'

If it's not a rule in sci-fi it is a nearly universal thing. ME 1 had a better story by far, ME 2 had vastly improved gameplay. I would love to see ME 1 re-released with ME 2's gameplay. The whole death by snoo snoo thing was retarded beyond belief and made me wonder why even the most viciously renegade Shepard would want that abomination anywhere near his/her ship.
