Ok, I'm not an x-factor, britain's got morons, fame academy whatever kind of person but I really liked this. I love this style of music and I've been thoroughly enjoying the new groups popping up lately in revival of this kind of thing.

Topic moved ---------------------- I watched their first audition. I do like what they did with 'Toxic' there. But generally I'm not really impressed by these. I think the standard of talent on the X-Factor and all the similar shows, with the single exception of Leona Lewis, have really been going downhill the last few years. Will Young was pretty good too.

.... actually this is technically the wrong section Buch. I'm not talking about x-factor but a specific type of music I find interesting and discussing its revival from the 40's-50's tot he present day. I just happened to use a clip I found from xfactor to begin such discussion....

Actually buchy ... this si the wrong area again ... even though its a discussion on music using xfactor as a reference it highlights game shows so it should be in non mass effect games topic.... I am joking of course. lol

Tee hee! Yes that's right I tee hee'd you! lol
But on a serious note, I thoroughly enjoy usual and interesting forms of music. I've always had a passion for music that uses the voice as an instrument other than to relay words. I'm struggling to find the correct term for this specific genre at the moment, its not acappella or barber shop entirely. Meh, my brain is failing me today.

I do love barbershop and acapella, though.

Barber shop is pretty damn awesome.
I love the weird sounds that people can make from other cultures as well. For instance, heres some Swedish accapella.
and some Ukrainian rock ... its not folk like it says lol but the soudns are fascinating. I also find it so strange that the western scale barely uses any of the notes in existence. Other cultures use tones more!
-------------------------------- edit:
This is freakin amazing to!
