Yes I am. I think some of my brain cells are still recovering from the Twilight side effects. >.<
Anyways, yeah borrowing from the library would be a good idea.

Andre Norton, Charles De'lint, David Gemmel - Knights of dark renown, Terri Brooks (not the male author Terry Brooks) - Woodwife, Terry Pratchett (Dark side of the sun is my favourite), James Harriet (he writes children's books lol), Alan Garner
Yeah thats probably my definitive author collection... but I watch a lot of movies and DVD TV shows that really inspire.
I tend to write a lot more than people will ever know. I do a lot of one page shorts as practice pieces and I have a huge collection of story idea's. I write them all down and then promise to come back to them and finish them when I'm done whatever I'm doing but rarely do. Problem is my attention span is god awful so I wander in, write furiously for about 20 minutes then go away for the next few days, week, month whatever. I'm also incredibly fussy about anything I deem not a short story. I fret over every page, fix it then fret about it again the next day. I really shouldn't be a writer. lol I can't stick to deadlines and I don't really care about whether or not I finish something in the next 10 years, as long as I finish it before I die.
It is SO good being home with my auto-spell checker.
