I always play as a black guy. Deffo in Fantasy games. Bringing equality and Samuel .L Jackson to al mediums mudaducka!!!! Also the misses is a lil upset at the game. I just found out that there is a choice you gotta make later on in the game between either sparing the life of Hawke...or Alistair if he is a Grey Warden. Context being that one of them has to stay behind to fight a large spider monster so you can escape and recruit the Grey Wardens to your side. It's pretty much a Kobayashi Maru test she has failed....And I cant blame her.

The Inquisitor: Hey Solas, do you wanna get takeout? *Solas slightly approves* Solas: Indeed I do. The Inquisitor: Pizza or Chinese? *Solas slightly approves* Solas: Pizza. The Inquisitor: Well what do you want on it? *Solas slightly approves* Solas: Get me a Margherita, plain and barren like my head. The Inquisitor: How is your head so smooth, anyway? *Solas slightly approves* Solas: Magic. The Inquisitor: Man, you like it when I ask you these pointless, tangential questions, don't you? *Solas slightly approves*
- My major experience with Inquisition's frienship system.

Help me out here - and remember I can't read any of the text --
Am I right in thinking that you can't level up attributes in this game? Is the level up system just choosing spells/abilities and nothing else?

Ah see..... NOW I'm worried I should read it again! I clicked, stopped reading after a few words, and then averted my eyes in horror. The part I did read sounds like the hardest decision they could- oh who am I kidding see ya Jeff.
Alternate titles for Inquisition: 1) Dragon Age: Audio Issues 2) Dragon Age: Sonar Adventure 3) Dragon Age: Elfroot 4) Dragon Age: Dude Where's My Party Members 5) Dragon Age: Elfroot and Iron and also Elfroot 6) Dragon Age: Theme Music of the Gods 7) Dragon Age: Two Was a Bit Shit We Know Oh God Please Don't Leave Us 8) Dragon Age: Parkour 9) Dragon Age: Over the Shoulder Conversation Simulator 10) Dragon Age: Angry Cockney Civil War

Is the level up system just choosing spells/abilities and nothing else? According to the wiki, attributes can be improved from equipment bonuses only. Bit of an odd choice but to be candid I always found the attribute system of Dragon Age to be pretty weak tea anyway. Veering off the beaten path gave you a weak character that was not much good for anything so you really had only one or at most 2 builds per class.

Gorvar - I wish it was as easy as all that. When I make major decisions, everybody weighs in, even when I selected my party for maximum approval. I hope I can win everybody back. (Though I'm worried things are going to come to a head with Vivienne) As for Kobayashi Maru - You rat bastard! You know I can't resist clicking those! You're lucky I hate certain characters a lot. Attributes - I've noticed that too, but I'm not too worried about it. Names - I propose the name for the Corphyeus battle at Haven be called "Snowball Fight" in Buch's new parody!

I want to click but I CANNOT CLICK.
I'm looking forward to this scary business kicking off. So far I've just been noddling around the Hinterlands with the initial party, slowly getting the hang of how everything works.

The people of Orlais and Ferelden in this game are threatening to take away the people of Skyrim's coveted Most Apathetic in Face of Apocalyptic Danger award.
I just went to the Redcliffe farm, and there was a rift in a clearing, clearly visible from the front door of the farmhouse. Come on guys, quit pining for watchtowers and planning racecourses, the demons are literally on your front lawn!
The farmer's wife does pick potatoes wearing chainmail, I guess she's the only sensible one.

Seems to me that the demons themselves have them beat in that regard. It must take, what, a day to walk from Haven to Redcliffe? And we know several days have passed since the Breach before you can set out.
And in all this time the demons in the Hinterlands have made the following progress -- 1) open about 8 rifts 2) send 3 or 4 demons through 3) hang out

Can you blame them? For all we know the demons just wanted a holiday. Enjoy the sun, fresh air, maybe play badminton and enjoy a nice cold drink...then you and your three friends show up, kick their faces in and throw them back through the portal. We're all just dicks really.

To be fair I'm assuming the demons themselves are more of a force of nature than 'the villain' here, so maybe they are straight up just hanging out.

I just noticed if you are Dalish or Qunari you have zero context about Andraste..
Dalish Inquisitor: I dont even know this woman! Leliana: Aparantly she freed the Dales from the Tevinter Imperium once, Inquisitor. DI: ...she did? Oh didnt know that. Cheers Varric: Oh and there is a theory her lover was an elf to. DI: ...but she was married to an warlord. Cassandra: Yes DI: ...bit of a slag aint she? Leliana: You shouldnt say that! DI: I can! Herald of Andraste, motherfuckers!

I am enjoying all the "You're the Herald of Andraste?! But you're a dwarf!" stuff, though. There was a conversation with Josephine where she was trying to spin the Inquisitor's background for PR, and my character just admitted he's done some shady shit for the Carta and believes in the Stone.
