(A synthetic malfunctioned on Cali's last trip out. Some deaths were involved.)

Good thing Weyland-Utani upgraded those rustbuckets and finally got around programming Asimov's goddamn Three Laws of robotics.

OK, I finally get it. This has something to do with the Alien franchise. You'll have to forgive me on that. I stopped paying attention after Aliens.

These androids are from another company arent they? Not Weyland-Utani?

the new game is supposedly pretty good. Too bad the publisher needed to be knuckle rapped about the Alien cast DLC and the fact that the whole gaming franchise attached to this has been pretty badly tainted by Colonial Marines.

It's been getting mixed to good reviews but everyone agrees that its WAY better than Colonial Marines.

A game of Trouble, missing half it's pieces and pissed on by a rutting tomcat was a better game than Colonial Marines so is that saying anything really?

I must be in the minority of the people who think that Colonial Marines was just poor/meh and not abysmal.
Alien: Isolation, however, is almost endlessly better than it.

These androids are from another company arent they? Not Weyland-Utani? Forgot to respond to this. The "Working Joe" androids are indeed made by Seegson, one of Weyland-Yutani's rival companies.

Yeah, I heard Ripley saying something among the lines of "no wonder they are losing the tech war". Explains why these lot look a lot less human than let's say Admira Hackett or Bilbo Baggins. Also when wil lthat newest patch of Asimov's Three Laws be send up the space internet? Shit like this wouldnt go down if someone tried to install some proper space modem's.

That's what happens when you release sentient machines with day one DLC. Not everyone gets on board so they don't get the whole package. then the creators blame the consumer for "not getting it."

I like that concept though - an even more crappy, run-down universe than the one we see in the film. These are the rubbish, shop's-own-brand version of Ash and Bishop.

Further into Alien: Isolation, I can say it's one of my favorite games I've played in a long-ass time. Looks and plays great, even on my shitty laptop. Lovably tense, and just plain Alieny.
Also, further into the game some of the working Joe's try to help you occasionally (provided you're not in a restricted area), or just patrol and work around like aimless.... robots.
