We've been here before, but I figured I'd create a dedicated thread for this discussion.
Personally speaking, I tend to be a fallen/outcast Jedi. I can see the utility of some dark side powers and I don't buy into either Jedi or Sith dogma, but I don't go out of my way to be an asshole. Basically, if I were Jedi, I'd go my own way and not get too involved in either side. Though I will say the Sith have the more interesting women on their side (yes, I'm being a bit of a pig and I'm a sucker for bad girls).
Saber-wise, I prefer a single saber with a style that's focused on mastery of the fundamentals and fluid execution. Basically, a variant of Darth Tyrannus/Count Dooku's style, though with good ability in other forms to have a more "jack of all trades" aspect.
So, what say you on the subject?

I could see myself in the actual Jedi Order as a Guardian or something, one who particularly likes to work alone. I'd probably be a little tipsy on the light-side scale, with a few points where I get a little close to the dark side territory, what with drinking and perhaps some debauchery. Admittedly, a bipolar Jedi would be pretty funny. xD I also wouldn't be above negotiating with the Sith if it meant as little bloodshed to everyone, and as much benefit to the greater good as plausible. Essentially, I'd be a pretty utilitarian Jedi on my better days.
But yeah, dem sabers. I'd probably be one of those dual wielders, having two sabers, but mostly using them one at a time for valid reasons. My first would probably be a retaliator pattern hilt with a semi-lethal/mostly stunning Bondar focus crystal and an icy blue color crystal placed in it. My other would be some sort of black polymer shelled hilt with a jade green color crystal and a barab ingot, the latter which lessens the intensity of the blade color and cohesion, making it really good for stealth operations. It'd be my Adam Jensen/Sam Fisher/Garrett style lethal stealth blade.
Worse comes to worse, I probably wouldn't use both at the same time, and I'd focus on the "Three Rings of Defense" using one at a time in combat with an enemy Jedi or some douchebag with a kortosis vibroblade, and I'd avoid killing people wherever possible, mostly just thrashing them into unconciousness with force powers or zapping them with the retaliator gently to where they're too bruised or boily/blistered to fight back.
Goddamn, we're fucking nerds.

I would say I am like Cade Skywalker. A former Jedi who left to pursue his own interests as a bounty hunter, I would use a Black lightsaber crystal, I would only use Dark side force abilities if they suited my needs, same with Jedi abilities. my lightsaber stlye would be modeled after Darth Sidious's style. One of the Dark Side abilities I might be tempted to try is Darth Plagueis's eternal life power.

Well it all kind of depends when.
If it's Old Republic, I wanna be one of Dooku's Dark Acolytes. However unlike the others I do actually believe in the Separtist cause( and maybe a certain Rattataki catches my eye and vice versa, who knows...) and if i were to survive the Clone Wars I would join the Rebellion with what little droids/seps I got left. I'll be a Cyborg like Darth Malak or Malgus who was left behind by the Jedi/Republic during the Stark Hyperspace war and since then vowed for revenge against the corrupt Republic. If it's Post Episode VI, I'll probably be a Jedi Consular, going around the galaxy to find ancient Jedi artefacts to help rebuild Luke's New Jedi Order. Maybe even have a small crew/family on my ship as I travel about.
Clone Wars me would use your standard Red lightsabre but I will use the Shien-style reversed-grip a la Ahsoka Tano/Star Killer. New Republic me would have an Green lightsabre but fight more like Darth Vader did, slow but powerful and precise and pommeling through.

He was quite lenient to and he was actually around till Episode 1. So when we see Darth Sidious for the first time, HE was the official apprentice still.

Plagueis was a master of midi-chlorian manipulation. Obsessed with eternal life, he experimented with ways to cheat death and create new life from the midi-chlorians. He was killed by Darth Sidious on the night before Sidious's election to supreme chancellor.

Single blade, Soresu stance for maximum threat and defense and wear them down. I like playing tanks so that's where that's coming from. Duel wield is not something that strikes me as easy or safe in a real life context unless you are using a 19th century French main gauche style which does not figure in this setting. Using ToR for reference as I am not into the EU novels like a lot of you guys.
Viridium color, I want to stand out.

Well, to be fair, Bioware took that in ToR and made it part of their canon and fairly cool. The Emperor is over 1000 years old and insanely powerful. Too bad they threw Revan and the Exile under the bus so thoroughly though.

"From a real world perspective, it makes no sense why you'd need something like "the force" if you have a laser sword that could cut through anything. All you'd need then is a list of demands."
