Just something I'd start. I found something whilst strolling through internet land and thought I'd share, but was nowhere
There's an old Hotel/Pub in Marble Arch London, which used to have a gallows adjacent to it, Prisoners were taken to the gallows (after a fair trial of course) to be hung. The horse drawn drag (prison cart) transporting the prisoner, was accompanied by an armed guard. The drag would stop outside the pub and, the guard would "one last drink" if the prisoner replied yes, it was to as "one for the road" if he declined that prisoner was "on the wagon"
So there you something random

Found this in the "Not Always Right" Unfiltered section, and I laughed my arse off... === Retail California, USA (Note: I work at a tea shop that samples different types of tea. They come from all over the place; China, Japan, etc.) Me: Ma’am, would you like to try our Tea of the Day? Customer: No, that’s not real tea! Me: Umm… it’s a Chinese green tea with… Customer: NO. THAT’S NOT REAL TEA! I’m British, you can’t serve me that! Me: Okay, bye.=== I find it hilarious that this particular... customer... seems to think that the English invented tea? Tea which originated in China long long ago (thousands of years ago) and didn't become popular in Britain until the 17th century...

Actually, the rude customer was apparently a woman... as evidenced by the line "Me: Ma’am, would you like to try our Tea of the Day?"
And what does pg tips man mean?

Pg tips is a brand of tea here in the UK, Sorry yeah so tired And not a particularly good brand, I might add. It's available here in the states and when I tried it it was more like tea-flavored water than proper tea.
