Proboards will be updating the site sometime between April 29 and May 29 to a new version.
I'm pretty sure most of you won't have any issues but they will be requiring a fresh log in once the update occurs. I'm not gonna get a heads up on when exactly they are going to do this so just make sure you all have your passwords up to date and know what they are so you don't get locked out of your accounts please. Any password update can be done in your modify profile page.
That is all.

As a follow up to the news that this forum will be "upgraded" I have lurked a bit in the Proboards support forums this morning and set up an account there. Other boards that have already upgraded went through a period where they were having trouble and glitches.
Mostly minor stuff on the Admin side from what I have seen but if after the upcoming upgrade any of have trouble logging in, posting or anything of that nature contact me please.
My personal email is viewable in my profile screen. it is hidden to non members. Might want to note it just in case.
As a matter of housekeeping I'll be checking to make sure regulars are able to log in during this period.

Near as I can tell we are still in queue for the V5 update. When it happens the forum will be down for maintenance for a few minutes and a new global login screen will pop up when you log in. it may not look like it's for this site. Once it happens I'll try to tool it back to look like our old log in. It'll still use your existing log in credentials.
That is all.

Looks like the update has happened....
Not sure what I think of it. We seem to have lost our title graphic on the front page. Can we get that back, Linders?

And would you believe I'm still getting the issue where you click a link and it says, 'No data received' and you have to click it again. Just had it now. Oy.

I thought I'd mentioned it before, maybe not. All links. You know, to open threads. The page doesn't open at all, I get a white screen. I'm using Chrome.

First I'd heard of it. What happens if you try a different browser?

Also I can't get the banner to go transparent the way it used to be. You don't even want to know how ugly it gets when I try to.

The original image is still saved to the banner section but it simply not displaying as such. I'll try to reupload it myself and see what happens. I think it's sized wrong and switched to default.
