The video only shows about a minute of gameplay, but this looks absolutely amazing visually. That, and a game about a bounty hunter in Coruscant's undercity is a very neat direction for LucasArts to take. o.O

I would like to punch that guy with the suit in the face. 'And this is my ACTUAL fist, that is really attached to my body. Wow. That's amazng.'
I also love how at one point he accidentally calls the game out for being derivitive in its cover-shooter design.

Anyway. That guy annoyed the crap put of me. But the game itself looks promising! I don't see what's so adult abut it, but I'm very glad we're getting a Star Wars game that isn't about Jedi knights.
And it also seems like someone is finally exploring the idea of a 'bounty hunter' as someone going after bounties, rather than an assassin.

There was already a game like this, it was called Star wars; Bounty hunter where you played as Jango Fett just after Episode I. It was quite good.

I think I played Bounty Hunter on the Gamecube, but I wasn't able to beat it. Can't remember whyyyy... but I might be confusing it with Shadows of the Empire for some reason. Didn't that have a jetpack in it somewhere?

Both games did, although you got the Jetpack later on in Shadows. Bounty Hunter is quite hard if you dont know where to go or know how to fight a certain amount of mobs. Also some of the bounties make no sense. When you do missions in Coruscant, it makes sense you can grab some bounties but during a Prison Break? Really?

I remember the jetpack in Shadows of the Empire.
I came to that game very late - a couple of years ago I think. I didn't like it at all.

The story is amazing though.

I'm still pretty damn bummed this game got cancelled. Cover shooter/Uncharted ripoff be damned, it was a goddamn Star Wars game, goddammit. Not a bad looking one, either.

I was momentarily confused, mainly because Lucasarts died when Disney bought the rights. Then I checked the dates on this thread. Looked pretty sharp. Bit of a shame really, I agree.

So I don't get it. This was like Uncharted, but with Boba Fett? Would you have gotten a jetpack or what? I do remember quite liking Bounty Hunter back in the day. Especially because of the wrist-flamethrower you could turn on civilans in the Coruscant levels. Kind of disappointed with what's happened to Star Wars games. TOR and eventually a DICE Battlefront? Not so good. (Though apparently there's some sort of Shadow of Mordor-style Arkham/Assassin's Creed ripoff game in early development. Amy Hennig's in charge of it. I'm quite interested to hear more about that.) What there really needs to be is a Black Flag-clone where you play as Han Solo before the films, flying about the galaxy in the Falcon, evading the Empire, and occasionally going out on foot for adventures. And I'm Han Solo starts playing when you get a high enough killstreak.

That last part with the Han Solo song is the best idea I've ever heard.

Games that go through development hell rarely come out unscathed.
Here's hoping though.

That's some good news right there.
I hope it goes all well in the end.
