February IS short, I was thinking that too. Honestly, what I'd love is to eventually do 12 batches, one for each month, ending with January. But that's very unlikely. Chants, that's my method for dealing with everthing Writing, homework, cooking, everything.

Yeah, being half asleep while on heavy sedatives to try (and fail with) dealing with my massive insomnia is a VERY bad time to realize, "Shit, I haven't done my entry for today!" I barely made it over to the keyboard. Then I almost didn't make it out of the computer chair. The hallucinations were... interesting.
I woke up at 4:30 this morning to deal with a whimpering puppy in severe pain and now my head is pounding. Today's entry should be freaking *awesome*.

Nonfic day! (Surprised?)
31 January 2011
Today's lessons with the surprise puppy include: My Ankle Bones Do Not Need Piercing, Please Stop Dragging My Leather Sandals Out of the Closet, and My Clothing Does Not Need Teeth Marks. Oh well. At least housebreaking and proper use of the doggy door came rather quickly for her. We're still working on crate training (she just doesn't like resting in it, but who knows where she was born or how she was raised before that jackass dumped her on my friend's road), but I think, so long as I have at least one sweatshirt in there she'll be happy.

Ya, that's based on your post count. I've been spa-er posting furiously the past year trying to get myself to spectre. Only a little more than a hundred posts to go.

We're expecting anywhere from 6 to 16 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. This isn't a big deal in the civilized world, but out here plow and sand trucks are about as useless as everyday drivers (roads on my side of the county are given least priority, literally, and my dirt road only ever gets plowed by my neighbor), and our electric grid likes to go under at least once during every major storm. So if I'm not around to help kick off the next batch, I'll see if I can catch up-- whenever I get back online.

...And skidding across the finish line 3 hours late, It's... ME! I may not have stuck to the 100 words a day thing (that's just how I roll, but I will do it properly next time...) I think I'll just link rather than posting the... 21 entries I'm missing here. My batch can be found HERE
