I actually find Garrus kind of creepy after reading his dossier! I have rather a lower opinion of him after that!
Yikes, I had no idea that it was so buggy. It worked perfectly for me.

You're running off a console though yes? Whatever crash was impacting me seemed to take everything down except the audio. Sometimes I could play for an hour sometimes 5 minutes. It only started after I installed it. As for Garrus' dossier, there was something very Hammurabi about some of those killings. Rough stuff, but Omega is a rough place. There is no shiny bastion of justice to take people to there for a hearing a lawyer and to have their rights read to them. That stuff is what inspired the three most powerful criminal organizations to go after him. They are the ones to make examples of people not some do-gooder dammit. The carving of the names of his team into his visor was good character stuff.

He must be a hell of a carver though, thirteen guys died and he carved their names into it small enough for it to be invisible to the naked eye.

Maybe Garrus stories are... you know... made up. I can imagine Garrus telling those stories to strangers in a bar...

I got mixed feelings about people after reading their dossiers. In some cases I felt the devs could have thought things over better. But most of them were amusing. Regarding Garrus' dossier in particular, yeah, there was a bit of creepiness factor in. The kill count and methods? Hmm. I always liked Garrus, but if I thought he was a little trigger-happpy before, in ME2 he has gone rampant. (Joker had put it quite astutely regarding that stick. *coughs*). But the most disturbing thing was the tracks played during combat. D: The chat transcript with his sister drew some sympathy, not least because he's one guy among the crew that doesn't unload his family problems onto Shepard, and he takes his sister's railing about him pretty much being a loser rather steadfastly. But what really moved me was the Shadow Broker's assessment: 'Exceptional tactical and team-building skills. Leadership potential overshadowed by Shepard. Unlikely to fully develop under Shepard's command.' Gotta let the turian go. Oh, by the way, Glow -- it was 10 men who died. With him and Sidonis they were 12 altogether.

I loved that bit, spaced20! And welcome!
That IS very moving, about Garrus and leadership. His apparent desire for a mentor is something I've been thinking about a lot while reading Tillian's fic. That is a sad point, there...

Thing is even before reading Garrus' dossier I was thinking the same thing. Garrus is a far better than average leader, but will never look that way standing behind Shepard. Shep's gotta cut him loose.

Scratch what I said earlier about the DLC's stability. I actually had a graphics card failure. *shakes fist* now I have a better one at the cost of more money than I wanted to pay. Everything works better now. Turns out playing games on outdated hardware really makes shit harder.

What ME needs more of is context sensitive dialogue at key battles. The generic battle boasts and battle cries are good for a normal fight but I smiled a lot when Shepard said "You just had to give them tactical advise didn't you?" Or " Keep dreaming T'soni"

i loved the DLC for four reasons #1: it showed that bioware could admit their mistakes(mako line was funny as hell) and poke fun at themselves #2: the bickering between liara and Shepard was not only funny but felt very natural and their relationship was very moving #3: the boss fights were fun and the vasir fight was genuinely challenging #4: the dossiers were kinda funny and Miranda's made me feel a bit bad for her(in case you don't know Miranda is sterile but wants to have a child ) and garrus' makes him a little bit more human yet at the same time made me worry that if i try to cross him he'll shoot me in the face overall it is a great DLC if slighty lacking variety in the combat
