I'd say the only oil company dirtier than BP is Shell Oil. "Shell is hell" is one chant I remember from the 90s thanks to their involvement in Nigeria.
(Not that I'm naive enough to think for one minute that any oil company is "clean". Those two just happen to have a lot more blood on their hands.) There's an interesting article up on World Press Review's website about BP's involvement in the Middle East (Iran in particular) that's worth a read too.

Yeah , not as bad though at first report. Caught the word at work. The oil companies and Obama both have some 'splaining to do. Maybe they should actually try enforcing those big stacks of regulations they have lying around gathering dust. Yes yes, I think that would be a great idea.
