I honestly think there are too many character cameos from ME1.... I mean, I loved every single one, but it makes the galaxy seem like a frickin' small place! Kind of spoils the epic scope and stretches believability after you're humerously reunited with the 99th side character.
But I am SO looking forward to Conrad Verner. I nearly did a funny fanfic about his adventures. Glad I didn't, now!

I honestly didn't run into too many people from the first game. With the exception of my old crew, I guess. Maybe I didn't look hard enough. The only one I can really remember was Harkin. Shot him in the leg. xD

I could compile a seperate ongoing list of people!
Here are the ones I can remember bumping into on my playthrough - and Conrad who I didn't meet:
- Obviously the party members / former party members / crew - Obviously the Council, Anderson and Udina - Refund Guy - The red-haired people making the decision about in-vitro implants - Nassana Dantien - Conrad Verner - Fist - Harkin - Whatsherface - the asari from Feros - Emily Wong (sorta) - Kahleed Al.... Kha..... the news reporter - the Rachni Queen - Parasini (the undercover corporate cop from Noveria) - The asari from Virmire (understandably boastful that she escaped a nuclear blast on foot within fifteen minutes) - You and me, Darling, obviously - And some chap I met in the mess the other day called Bernard
And I got emails from a ton of others, thanking me for helping them out two years ago - Lizbeth for instance.
I swear there were tons more examples than that. These are just the ones I can think of right now.
It just seemed a little excessive to me. One of my many (but tiny) complaints about the game is that at times it felt a Mass Effect Reuinion show.
