More stuff on skirting the law for a good intentions. www.komonews.com/news/local/50689032.htmlTwo truckers saw a guy is about to aubduct two little girls for rape when they jump in and start scaring the guy off so the girls have a chance to escape. Then after they are gone, they start beating the shit outta of him. I'd say good for them. I know, sounds a little off but concidering how nasty asshats got away by jumping through the loophole of the Law systems, this is a good thing they did. So ladies and gentlemen, this is the best example of "Good Chaotic" means.

That's pretty funny right there. And he'll get it even worse when he gets to prison. If there's one thing that murderers, rapists, and thieves don't like, it's people who mess with children. He'll probably get beaten to a pulp in there.

I don't believe this is in any way funny or just.
I can understand if not support the truckers giving this bastard a beating - but I will never condone brutality among prisoners.

I don't necessarily condone it either, but that's absolutely what will happen. Inmates do not like people who mess with children, and such people usually have to be kept in solitary. My brother works in a prison, so I hear about it quite a bit. Some of worst ones are kept up 23 hours out of the day.
But I most definitely think it's funny that those truckers have this man a wallop. Anyone who tries such a thing as kidnapping should have to face similar punishment.

Those two truckers are heroes. They probably saved those girls' lives.

I don't condone violence either but when it comes between pedophiles having a cushy time in prison (seriously have you seen English prisons its like Butlins!) and getting their arses kicked for good measure I'm going to turn a blind eye to some kiddy touchers getting a bloody nose. Actually I'd turn a blind eye to it anyway I might even throw them a baseball bat. I'm also under the opinion that rapists should be sentenced to sex changes. Man woman I don't care... sex change. I don't personally or morally agree with gratuitous punishment of pedophiles but I'm happy to let Rorschach and friends do what they've got to do. I like to file it under the part of my brain that ignores the fact we have soldiers and tanks because I don't want my life to be run by Islamic extremists. Kind of sounds selfish when i think about ti that way but at least I'm not as selfish as those people.

I think sex changes for rapists is an bit extreme.
I don't believe in unnecessary violence anyway. What better than them does it make us if we beat prisoners to a pulp, or turn a blind eye to it?

I'm trying to find that story again, it's a good example when we should turn a blind eye and NOT side with the law.
There's a story from a small town in the US where this dickhead terrorise the town for ages. He raped a 13 year old girl, killed a couple of people and he manipulates the law through loopholes to get away with it. And that's not even counting the times he either gave witnesses death threats or killed them outright. After he beats up a chemist shop owner brutally as a 'light warning' for his due debts, a couple of the town forks decided to deal with this by their own hands.
So what did they do? Hatched a plan to kill him. So a few days later, they grabed their guns and started an ambush on him in the middle of the town. Which resulted him dying from a hail of bullets and his shiny new ure got badly damage. After they killed him, they ran off while his GF called the police. As the resulted of it the FBI went into town and tried to track those guys down but the rest of the townsfork are very uncorperative let's just say that.
Despite their efforts in tracking the killers down, they failed. In the end the result of the bloody mess they put up with over the years has resulted them stop beliving the system. I don't blame them given the situation they put up with.
I've do belive the law and the system and they do serve well BUT imo, it's quite a flawed system. There are times the criminals managed to use loopholes to get away from otherwise, a full deserved sentance... too many times. The system has it's uses but we should be wary with the law as you can tell by this example, the system don't always protect us.

That's because the system is shite.
Generally I would agree with you about the whole it doesn't make us better than them mentality if we beat them etc but you can't view the world as black and white. Its a mesh of gray with a bit of black and white in specks. If you gave me the ultimate of protect children from a pedophile or let him hang out in butlins for a couple of years then be let out to stare at kids again ... protect. The system does not punish and rehabilitate criminals enough, especially the worse ones. Sometimes a sound beating is better than nothing and with some people its enough to make them realize they're a dick and to keep it in their pants. It also sends out a no tolerance message. Its not as if I'm saying we should bring back the death penalty anyway. Death solves nothing. I really think we should have more stricter policies and better rehabilitation of criminals but the government would rather entertain criminals to save money. Prisons are a joke. You also need to see it from the point of view of the victim. They're the other half of criminal actions after all and they're going to live with a life sentence.

Like I've said above, the system itself cannot measure properly of the servirity of the crimes that commited by the person. There are times when extreme measures to be taken if one needs to defend for a good cause. As Zars said it, the world is full of grey and sometimes the sentences are not enough. Like two girls that are being aducted and raped violent by a bunch of guys that happened back a few years ago. After they give their testaments, the sentances to those guys are a fricken joke. They got a month or so in prison while the girls not only have to face the truma for the rest of their lives but also once those guys are released, they lived in fear because they are afraid those guys might come back and retailiate them once more, because they testifying them to the court. And also the above example. The law and the system has failed the townsfork so much, by the time they decided to go renegade and kill off the scrumbag town bully, many people have fled the town and the rest of the townsfork become shell-shock victims as they now stoped beliving the system that supposed to save them. Hence, whenever the someone does go into some viligance act, most people turn a blind eye and praised them because they know how flawed and unrealiable the system is. On the bright side with the story about standbyers saving the girls while beating the rapist to pulp, I've concider this as a good thing. It's a little extreme yes, but I've encourage more sprited "we're-in-this-together" thing with everyone. If we discourage people from helping each other, we might have another grusome crime happening like this one: www.trutv.com/library/crime/serial_killers/predators/kitty_genovese/1.html
