That was wonderful!
I remember being very surprised when Futurama started really kicking up the emotional bits - I always thought it was the least likely sitcom to do that. But I suppose there were always hints even in the first season. And I really, really liked Futurama's 'serious' bits - they were always unique and character-based - usually there because the writers wanted to explore the character, not because they wanted the sweet moment.
