I have one question about the UK that has been plaging in my mind for a while... so don't hit me.
Is Britain's surroundings monochrome?
Someone kept saying about that for quite a while... so yeah.
*runs away, screaming like a girl*

We have a nice range of colours here, like most places. A lot of green, but other colours, too. In autumn, one of our fields out back grows this tall grass with red seed heads, and turns the whole field purple. In the summer, it's covered in buttercups and the whole thing is bright yellow.

I'd say we have colours, but none of them are very rich. Everything is mixed with grey. It can be pretty in this way though, and it reflects the culture. Here's some pictures I took while I was walking today, to illustrate my point.

Why do I feel like I know that place Buchy? This reminds me of my back garden as a kid in Devon. Except its missing Snow drops and pink/purple wild flowers.

That's a very lovely picture, that is.
(If you've ever wandered around Bolton, chances are you do know that place.)

I'm not sure if I've actually wondered Bolton. I've been dragged on walks by members of Daniel's family though doing the 'interrogation' getting to know me. I might have been dragged through that place on one of those.

I see that England has colours... thought so, they exagerated too much but still you said that "real is grey" with all the surroundings that have a hint of grey, so it's kinda valid. How does the grey hues reflect your culture btw?
Also nice picture there Zars. I always wanted to walk into that forest at least once in my lifetime. Most of our forests are rustic and rough looking.

How does the grey hues reflect your culture btw? I was being a bit poetic. But I think people here, as opposed to people in, say, North America, western Europe or Australia, are a bit quiet and shy. Except our ain ambassadors, the football hooligans, of course. We are a bit bitter about everything and simple in our tastes. We drink tea instead of coffee, have fewer TV channels, don't like to talk to strangers. I'm generalising here but I think this holds up.

Maybe in Bolton Buchy...
Simple in tastes? We're the most diverse country in the world. We house every kind of ethnicity and culture and incorporate it into our own. We don't have so many TV channels because we don't need it. We got BBC Iplayer. Its just common sense, we have plenty of that.... apart from with the hooligans of course. I like to consider them our cousins at best. Like pre-evolutionary Englishmen. We have the best Tea in the world here... Twinnings! Why not drink it? It has more flavours and variety than the soft drinks isle. Coffee gives you ulcers. I wouldn't say we were bitter about everything. We like to moan but we always buck down and get the job done unlike most. We have good work ethics, speak our minds and do something about our problems. We're the hardest working country in Europe. We get excited about minor things like a tornado in Birmingham knocking a plant pot off a window sill and when we get attacked by terrorists we shrug and carry on because no matter how tough life gets we're to stubborn to let anybody keep us down. And as for strangers. Unless they are coke heads I love to have a chat with the old ladies at the bus stop.
Yes, I am proud of my country!

Don't get me wrong Zars - I'm proud of my country too. It's excellent.
But I stand by my assessment!
Hardest working country in Europe, though? How come?

We get half the holiday time and work more hours a week than any other European country.
Ha ha. And I stand by mine. =P

Soon to be summer here, so take that you British people!
On a the subject here, glad to hear that Britain is ethnically diverse... a mild pleasent surprised there. My mother always make stereotypical asumptions that the UK is not so racially diverse or tolerant. I'm not saying you guys aren't and don't get me wrong, British people are great but my mums rants... yeah...
