Heh... typical Asian guys. And my mother wonders why I didn't get along with them so well. (Fortunately my mother respects me enough to shoo all the other Asian suitors to the door.)
Especially that typical "I can't date you because my mother would kill me. She hates non-asian, but anytime you want to fuck buddy, give me a call." Soooo hypocritical. /rolleyes
They were a source of my agnst during my teenage years. I was in a group where we used to bag ourselves for being Vietnamese for being soooo... well uncultured and a chuavinistic attitude, especially with the elders.
I don't anymore. I'm accepted for who I am, but that doesn't that mean I'm going to date an Asian guy anytime soon. If anyone wants to date me, they'll better start learning how to show some respect and accept for what I am, not what I should become.

And thats how it should be. Do not settle for half a man and half a life. Single life isn't bad. Nobody to clean up after, spend as much time with friends as you want. Go where you want when you want and if you get broody you can adopt. The best relationships you will ever have our with friends and maybe a friend will become a romantic interest at some point.

Besides that pic of me that I put up like I said is the only pic I have of myself on a computer. I hate getting my picture taken and my nephew pointed a camera at me so I just gave that sorta pissed off at the person sitting next to me look. Then he sent it to me to use on myspace.

I know how you feel about picture taking. If someone tries to take a picture of me I do this weird slack jawed teeth beared scared to hell expression. Soon as I got my MAC and found the Photo booth program I got my first descent photo. I'm much more relaxed if I'm taking the photo. lol I got so vein about it the first year and had 700+ photos. Making up for 20 years of lost photo time. I went to photo Anonomolous though and haven't taken a photo in a year. Have you tried taking your own photo?

Wait you use myspace still? Damn Hodster get witht he times, theres been face book for a while. Only joking. I really dislike myspace/facebook though. It just gives people I'm purposely avoiding chance to contact me. God I must sound really bitchy there but you don't know these people. If you did you'd try to get away from them as well.

I detest having my photo taken. I'm really unphotogenic; my smiles always look false and I have a weird habit of inclining my head forward, so my forehead looks massive. If I'm not expecting the photo, I just scowl, as thats more or less my natural expression. I look good in about 1 in every 50 photos taken of me, so I tend to avoid cameras. I seem to suit black and white photography better, too. I guess it hides my complexion. These are possibly the only two pictures of me that I will allow to be put in a frame and on display in the house. As you can see, I still had my long hair back then. This one was taken about 4-5 years ago, at my uncles wedding. So I was 15-16 at the time: And this one was taken last November, at a fancy ball I went to. There's supposed to be a man in the picture, too, but I edited him out:

You look really different in those old photos. I don't know why! And bizarrely, in the bottom one, you look older than in that more recent pic.

I think it's the long hair that you look older than the recent pictures but still it looks good on you.

I think it may partly by the whole "myspace pose" that I had going on in the first picture that makes me look SO young. Some people say my short hair makes me look older. I don't know. I think I look more mature with my glasses on, though.
