Also another advice from your first year, if you ever get stuck in a ditch, seek help immediately! Took me 4 years to realise that the lectuers and the staff members are more than willing to lend you hand if something goes wrong.
Also, take it easy but not too easy that you'll be left behind in your accademic studies.

Oh and if its the same as the UK... your first eyar grades do not count towards your actual degree so don't blow all your ideas on the first year...

Thanks for the advice. There's only going to be one other person from my High School going to where I'm going so we'll help each other out. And it's actually more like a tech school so I'm only really going to be there for 2 years and then trying to find a job.

Have a buddy or two if you miss a lecture, try to enjoy it, and don;t let the stress pile up. If it gets to you - sort it out before it gets too much.
And have a lot to drink.

But not too much I have way to many drunken stories to tell and half of them involve large black outs and fighting men twice my size....

Have a good experience at your university, bro. The change from high school is tough at first, but then you callous and enjoy it.

Oh and for your information... buying a kilogram brick of cheddar cheese to save on money doesn't help. I did that and before I even for 1/3 of the way through it the whole thing was so mould encrusted the authorities had to declare it legally dead. That thing needed to be buried in a VERY deep hole. Never stopped me from hiding it flat mates bed though. He didn't notice for a couple of weeks but then again he didn't notice this smell coming from his room that turned out to be 6 month old Horlicks. Dear god that smell will never be wiped from my memory. The lazy douche only cleaned it up in the end because there were complaints from other flats in the block and security had to come around looking for a dead body.
Such good memories from University halls. xD

Hope The Gathering Storm turns out well. xD Ya I'm a big Wheel of Time fan and I'm so grateful for Brandon Sanderson for finishing the series. I know that it most likely not going to be Robert Jordan material but I have a open mind. Plus the guy only had to do one book but he did justice to the series by not cutting alot of stuff and turning it into 3 book. (I couldn't see how the story could end in one more book anyway). Besides I've spent so much time reading WoT that I want a ending damnit. And Zarsthor that cheese thing was hilarious!

That usually happens after a musician's death.
