Mass Effect means quite a bit to me. So much, in fact, that I joined a forum based in its fandom and have been working for the past few months in developing a story and set of characters to participate within its expansive realm.
And yes, the third still means a lot to me.

Mass Effect felt like my daydreams realized. I was already A Bioware fan thanks to Knights Of The Old Republic. That game was the reason I bought an Xbox. I played a lot of their games since then. They really know how to make the games story feel really personal. I was invested in Mass Effect right out of the starting gate. The characters, universe it all was like a love letter to the Sci-Fi geek in me. This felt like it was my journey and at times the line between myself and myself has Shepard would blur. Has a whole it’s still the best video game trilogy I've ever played. No game series has truly invoked real emotions out of me like Mass Effect has. I still wonder about certain choices and what they could mean for the future even now. After the Extended Cut I felt better about the conclusion and how it was more positive then it was before. The possibility was there to be reunited with the Normandy Crew and I saw that I left the Galaxy with a bright future. I felt possessed to write and complete Mass Effect Restoration to conclude what I knew had to come next. I finished it and that was one of the most satisfying things I've ever done. I could go back to Mass Effect 1 right know hear that main menu theme and feel like I’ve come home again. Damn fine trilogy I’m glad I took part in it.

Happy N7 day? There's a holiday? I thought only franchises that actually managed to keep a logical flow to their story got holidays.
*cue sappy music* Ohhhhh

I had no idea there was a thing called N7 day. xD
But that was the nicest thing ever, man. I love Mass Effect. 'Thank you for building communities' was for us.

Well. I didn't know there's an N7 day, so I've decided to whip this up as a tribute.

I think Mass Effect's existence at this point is a good indication of the fact that good stuff sure as shit exists, but can easily be corrupted. A painful, but ultimately important learning experience.
Gonna go ahead and say, ME: Andromeda, in my opinion, was a step in the right direction. Sorta, minus the buggy shit and all that. Too bad it's been entirely and utterly fucked.
But to be perfectly sincere, we all need to stay positive. The evils and gremlins that plague the concepts of creativity and industry shall not overcome us. The passionate shall prevail.

Mass Effect was alright. 8/10 at best. I'll tell you one thing, it's no Forza Motorsport, that's for damn sure.
