Thought we could do with a 'pet hates' style thing for rare or controversial game opinions.
1) I quite like Bubsy the Bobcat.

I have a burning hatred for the PC Gaming community, despite the fact that more than 90% of my video game playing is done on the PC, and I hardly play on consoles anymore. This is due to the majority of PC Gamers being insufferable dickwagons and obnoxious stooges.

This is due to the majority of PC Gamers being insufferable dickwagons and obnoxious stooges. Yeah. The typical online representation of the PC gamer is an insufferable elitist prick with a 4000.00 machine that needs to be totally up to date with the latest 1000 dual slot video card. I'm saving up for a rig that will carry me a few more years that I expect to cost less than one third of that. And will be happy with it. I like PC gaming for the control scheme and variety of possible games. Not the ability to set up a cooling rig on my desk that allows me to see the digital pores on the digital skin of a digital character at 500 digital yards. Seriously, they can't see that they are as bad as the very worst of the console fanbois. That is something I can't decide if it's funny sad, or pathetic.

People who say they like video games, but all they like are the silly first person shooters that never offer a serious story or interesting characters. You don't like video games. You like explosions.

Clint, saying the most obvious ass thing in existence, but a true thang, nonetheless.

People who religiously buy the new EA sports game every year.
Now I do play some sports games (baseball, hockey, boxing, MMA), but I don't feel the "need" to play the latest and greatest with the most current gimmicks.

I had a co-worker who was taking a game coding course a few years back. He told me that there was code in those sports games going back to the fucking 90s. I've nothing against owning a sports game, Hell, I've got a bit of a weird thing for golf games (I don't even like golf) but what kind of idiot buys the new version each and every year? They are not even bothering with the new coat of paint anymore. The fact that EA's business model is practically built on fleecing these twits says volumes on how stupid the typical consumer is. Here's mine. Sega should have won the console wars in the 90s. The only reason they failed was because of a weird lack of interest in localizing their library of games. I just really liked their games and especially controllers better than their competition.

You know, the Master System was much more popular than the NES for a long time here in the UK. Nintendo made horrible marketing decisions and it just didn't take off for years. I think round about when Mario 3 came out was when they started doing it right, and Sega fell into 2nd place like everywhere else.
4) I really enjoy quick time events (provided they're not repeated too many times). When one starts I'm always like, oh fun! xD

That year, meaningful changes to control schemes were added to improve gameplay. Everything else has stayed the same.
