I'd like to see only a few episodes, or another movie. Just give it some sort of ending, wrap up the business with Book's past and Mal and Inara's relationship, bum bum boom, swish swish.

Gotta admit, Mal and Inara's relationship needed closure. The comcis that came after Serinity didnt really do much in that regard.

Star Trek DEFFO deserves a reboot. You can say whatever you like bout Abrams, he did bring back Star Trek. So how about a reboot, maybe do TNG or DS9 or even Voyager in this new Timeline based after the movies?

Hmmmm, not to my taste. I think Star Trek's biggest mistake was making so many different versions of the same scenario. I say they're better off keeping their existing set-up and characters for a few movies, then hopefully stopping before it collapses.

I can see your point....but I would like to see the future of this new time line. what I liked a lot bout Star Trek was the idea of the Mirror-universe where history takes a different path, for the worse in most cases. I just want to see how the destruction of Vulcan would influince characters like Tuvok and how the Romulans would react when they found out their mienrs from the future had such great technology and let the Federation run around frightend and how they are preparing the evacuation of Romelus before the star goes super nova. I know there was a mention of a Earth-Romulus war....

Ah it's just taste. I can certainly see a ton of potential for a whole new Star Trek world with this new start. I'm watching the first JJ Abrams movie now - it's a very good start. In some ways it would be a shame to waste the potential.
But for my taste: I don't like serials and long drawn out lists of sequels. Give me a trilogy or so of high quality films any day. Brevity is the soul of wit, William Shakesman.

Willy only did one-shots or parts like a hack. Dude didnt know how to make a story last for a while. YOU ARE A HACK, SHAKESPEARE! .... Dude I love Hamlet, my favourite.
Also Game of thrones, best as a series that format.
