uk.gamespot.com/news/assassins-creed-iv-black-flag-details-emerge-6404553Feeling pretty conflicted on this. On one hand: it looks decidedly not like Imperial China and going from numbered installment to another in the space of a year is a new record even for Ubisoft. On the other hand: The protagonist is Haytham's dad, it's set in the Carribbean more than fifty years before ACIII, so it's sort of a new setting, and there's no Connor in sight. Which is understandable, because after finding out where CHARLES LEE was at, he's fulfilled his life's ambition.

Didnt they hint Conner had a love intrest? Altair and Ezio had theirs so...i dunno. Also Pirate Assassins, could work. They are really milking that naval combat out now.

Like there's time for wenches when you have CHARLES LEE to track down.

Mr. Glow has become a force o' nature on this forum. I'm going to assume that's a compliment? I hope so, anyway. Also they're setting themselves up for so many puns by making a game with DRM about pirates.

You're practically the only person on this forum with balls big enough and not enough shits to give about stupid things, and we all love you for it. Gorvar comes at a close second, if not an all-round tie at this position, but he's a bit more on the directly chillout/peace, love, and rock and roll side, rather than Glow's Spider Jerusalem style. Also this game announcement is staggeringly too soon.

Well, leaving aside the impossibility of Blackbeard having something nice to say about anybody, and the likelihood that most of it is reskinned content from AC3, it looks pretty cool.

Nah, Ezio had more class than stabbing a guy to take his girl.
Also, rumour has it that instead of getting a trilogy about one character like Ezio did, the Kenway bloodline are getting three games total, consisting of ACIII, this and the game after it.
While it's kind of a rehash, imagine riding around the English countryside and exploring London as a young Haytham, flirting with joining the Templars and going on highway robberies with Dick Turpin and the like.
Also, where's the protagonist's eyepatch? He'd better lose an eye over the course of the game.

Presumably you'd be more bothered about the pirate ship coming after you than about how much the captain of it's hood didn't suit the environment at all.
