Whats the Lore behind that skin anyway? Short answer: The Systems Alliance Navy makes the horrendous mistake of not watching 2001: A Space Oddessy or Terminator series beforehand. In the meantime, synthetic jubblies are going to have to be the focus of the war effort, or "So help me God" as Admiral Hackett no doubt said. Of course, he's voiced by Lance Henrikson so he cannot be trusted one inkling on the subject matter, even if Bishop totally ruled and was a real bro-bot.

Maybe they will let you play as a Elcor or a prothean.
Elcor is actually possible because they can have any weapon mounted on they're backs so it would actually be cool.

Collectors count as Protheans....kinda? You shouldn't think of the collectors as protheans in any kind of way the knowledge is gone they are mutated and use powers that are also mutated..... So yeah doesent matter so much in the multiplayer but it would be cool to play as a prothean.... Same as Elcor or hanar...

I say Collectors are Protheans in the same way that husks are humans.
They are... and then they aren't.
