Ok I've had an anxiety disorder since I started school at the age of 5 and I've had the migrains and what not from stressing out along with them. I've had the counselling, it helps on really bad days but I've never found it to help the entire problem. The only way to cure me is to move me away from people. I know I mention how much I don't like people in the Pet peeves section but its true. People cause my upset.
Anywho, my advice to you Rascarin is to take time outs. I've found that to be the most helpful of things. Just go stay with a friend even if they just live down the road or go to a quiet place for the entire day and take a book or something else you'd like to do and just relax there. Sometimes I like to vanish on my hubby for a good few hours and hide in the garden and I find it really helps. I come back relaxed and refreshed and happy I've accomplished something out there.
Might not work for you but its always nice to have a break from stressful situations.
Oh and for the record Anti-depressants are a very dangerous thing. I've seen a number of people on them that have lost it due to the anti-depressants. They aren't good for people. Doctors have even been told to stop handing them out like candy due to numerous side effects they cause. They take a good 6 months to even kick in and a large number of the population suffer severe withdrawls from the things. Anti-depressants are a quick fix solution for Doctors and if you're going to take them make sure its REALLY bad and don't stay on them for too long.
