A; The newat WoW novel, Tides of War. Really good although I think the author puts in to many races because she feels she has to adress every race a person can play in WoW.
Q; what is your favourite colour?

Calimari. It was an "Experience I should have" as my mother put it.
Fondest wish for a TV show? AKA your best show ever?

A: As much as I like Firefly and wouldn't mind seeing a second season, I'll probably wish for a cyberpunk Sci-Fi television series of some sort on HBO. Probably in the Blade Runner canon, that'd be tight.
Q: Who is your daddy, and what does he do?

The farthest I've ever been is Bournemouth, which is on the opposite end of England to my birthplace. I've never actually left the UK before.

Microcosm. For some reason, I like the idea of a 'small world', and the sort of perspective that it makes you think about.
If you were to move to another country tomorrow, which would you pick?

Spain. You know, 'cause I need to brush up on my Spanish and need somewhere artsy to be.

I had to ask this question....

Twelve statues of dinosaurs! I love that fact completely. So glad I didn't answer now!
My favourite dinosaurs are the flying ones. Pterodactyls, is it? I love those ones, because they're so unlike anything we have now - and they are almost dragons.
Do you beleive in ghosts?

A: Yes, I believe in ghosts - but not necessarily very many ghosts. I think there would have to be extenuating circumstances for someone to be a ghost and not "move on", as it were...
Q: What's your favourite fantasy / mythological creature?
|
|
|
Post by Cali on Nov 28, 2012 5:42:27 GMT 1
A: Depends.
Ancient Mythology: I would say Sirens. They both harbor my two greatest banes; lovely women, and fantastic song/music. Perhaps that's why I find them so interesting, but they're still predatory and manipulative. Nymphs are probably my best choice, particularly forest and meadow ones, because all they do is romp around and chill out, and talk about the finer things in life, including nature and wine. The same thing I like to do.
Classic Literature: The vampire, before Stephanie Meyer terribly disoriented its true origins. They are crazy, interesting mythological creatures.
Contemporary Literature: The Shoggoth, from Cthulu/Lovecraft. I just stands/sits there pasted against a wall or ceiling, not doing anything but being absolutely fucking horrifying to look at and finding ways to kill you when you least expect it.
TV: Weeping Angels from Dr. Who, even though I've never actually seen a single episode of Dr. Who. They're just so freaking scary to even think about.
Q: What's your favorite mythological/fantasy sword? (Or sci-fi, if there is even one)
