The release date for the Telltale Walking Dead video game is out! blog.zenstudios.com/?p=4792Okay in serious news, a new Comic-universe Walking Dead game has been revealed. Heads up, this game wont have anything tying it to Telltale's game so dont expect any Lee or Clem cameos.

What a hideous commercial...

So now there's the game based on the show, the game based on the comic, and the games based on the comic but not as closely. That seems odd to me since the Walking Dead 'universe' is just.... zombies. A Walking Dead game is essentially just a zombie game with a logo on the front.

It's more about several characters being able to interact. For example Daryl and Meryl Dixon from the show are not part of the comic-universe and because of reasons (Frank Darabon leaving and several actors with him) the events of that narrative are different from the ones seen in the comic. Also because this game will take place in Washington DC, there is very little chance the characters in that game will meet Lee's or Clem's group from Georgia.
Anyone else kinda upset there is like very few zombie movies/games take place in Europe OR the Walking Dead never does a narrative there? I wanna know how Belgium does in these kinda situiations, damnit!
Note; I have seen 28 Days/Weeks later AND Highschool of the Dead but that's it really for non American flics.

I've seen one or two European ones but honestly they all suck...
Oh the Spanish film [REC.] was good!
Totally agreed though Gorvar. The novel 'World War Z' is good for offering a global perspective. You see multiple countries reacting differently to the zombie crisis - the US and China are weakened, South Africa becomes a global power with an act of cruelty, Russia embraces Christianity and Empire again. Sadly most other countries are just one chapter of cheap stereotypes. The Japanese chapter is about an otaku who finds a katana and lives in the woods with a wise old master..... that's just idiotic. To say nothing of the British chapter - a posh guy using medieval weaponry to save the Queen in a castle. Wow.
You ever read that one? If so was there a Belgian chapter? I'm guessing Hercule Poirot fought off zombies by hgurling waffles and chocolates at them.

Yeah, likewise! I read it because a friend passed it on, but then I couldn't put it down.

I haven't read WWZ yet but I listend to a lot of the audio stuff on the youtubes. As far as I know there is no Belgium chapter, Holland gets a mention when people hide in the castles just like in the UK. Problem is they didnt take any supplies with them and they starved to death, yay. Hercule Poirrot...maybe. Personally I like to believe Dr Evil attached friggin' lasers to the friggin' zombie's friggin' heads and thus ended up saving Brugges for his homies, including yo -points to self- Also we all know you were that posh git who saved the Queen, Buch.
Also Rec WAS good...untill the yanks fucked it up! FYI Highschool of the Dead is a japanese anime and although it has REALLY good visuals and the drama when it's there is good...it is also a harem anime and we get to many boob/panty shots for me to take the narrative seriously....FACKING HELL JAPAN!
If I may go off topic for a bit, i got no idea how Belgium would cope in this scenario. Best thing we can do is flood ourselves (like we did in WWI) and hope the zombies dont get us. There could be a chapter about how we flooded portions of the country and thought we were save...but those bastards pop their ugly mugs up from below the water and keep on walking. Hence walls upon walls of sandbags. Prolly also something about the chunnel but thats more of a France thing.

Nothing posh about me matey. Well a tiny bit, compared to the other people where I live, but not compared to the actual 'higher' classes. I'm on the poncey side of scum.

Was that real?
Looked more like something Totheark would post rather than a real teaser.

Seems like they're hinting Clem might die. I think we all already knew she might! But still.
