"Cap'n Rentola's Discount No-Questions-Asked Used Weapons Shack".
It has a pirate theme. He was fired.

Javik, the Prothean. You may be missing him, yeah. You have to buy the 'From Ashes' DLC to get him. He's a party-member, and quite a significant one in the way he represents the themes of the plot, adds to the Thessia section and..... is a Prothean. Bioware removed him from the game and charged ten bucks extra to get him back. A real shame because he's an important and interesting character. I'm glad I bought him on day 1, but annoyed at myself too. EDIT: As for the soundtrack --- ME3 is where it hits its stride, man. Blows the other two away, in terms of soundtracks. I think I finally figured out why the ME3 endings make me cry so much. It's the music. When the violence on Earth and the disintegration of Shepard's face (well, in the Control ending, at least) is juxtaposed with those quiet, melancholy piano chords, I lose it. I can't even listen to the soundtrack without crying. There's just something absolutely masterful and emotional about it. The soft strings...the minimalistic piano... I'm about to wax poetic. Stop me. (Also, I'm STILL angry that I haven't played Javik. Heard nothing but positive stuff about him. I played the games on my ex-boyfriend's account, so it wasn't like I could just buy DLC even if I wanted it. I feel like I really got cheated there. He should have been included with the base game.)

Slow, high-pitched piano and drawn-out, mournful strings, is all it takes for me. I agree. That one little tune that plays wile Shepard's face dissolves is my favourite in the game. I always thought it was such a shame that people hated the scene, when it had *such* a good tune playing in the background. 'An End Once and For All'. Fitting title for this thread.

Great review! And gratz on finally finishing your trilogy run! =D
I agree with you pretty much 100%. It's lame that BioWare decided to try so many underhanded things with ME3, because I think, in the long run, it'll affect how fondly it's remembered by many gamers, myself included.
But you're right about everything coming together nicely, the music being exceptional, the characters having superb depth. A lot of little things, as well. Great things to think about there!

Did you see they released a free copy of the ME3 EC Soundtrack? Not sure if it's repeats, but I have it if anyone missed it.
Lily - Definitely spend the money for Javik. The intro mission isn't worth crap, but the character is actually pretty good. He fits in with the rest of them and can be funny... in a non-funny way.
The multiplayer has been a big disappointment to me. A) it doesn't do anything. I don't see any change in my ending video from 50% to 97% B) Your percentage goes down WAY too fast. I was trying to get it up to 100% for a final run through with Femshep 1. I succeeded, started the final mission, and by the time I went to work, it had already gone down again. So , no, I'm not going to drive myself crazy fighting fricking banshees (I hate them) for another imaginary gun. All my categories are to level 20, and unless they raise the level cap, that's where they'll stay,
Random thought: Has Anyone attempted an insanity playthrough of the final segment with Banshees everywhere? *cold shivers down spine*

I had a hard enough time on normal! I bet on insanity the Reaper shoots like hundreds of beams everywhere! And you die for even pausing the game!
Wish my theme song was the Axe Cop theme Song....Or Skyrim.

I'm rubbish at shooters, so I dare not try Insanity at all! Which is a shame, because it's the only Xbox 'Achievement' I have still to unlock.

I KNEW IT!! ;D I remember when Linders was playing the game and I was in the other room reading, and I heard the music of this song and called from the other room "Is that the music from The Fountain"? Because it sounded so similar... and beautiful... and haunting... and this music moves me in ways that music does not normally move me... This composer is a gorram genius. The man can do no wrong...
