I always thought Zaeed was a bit of a carbon copy of Canderous. They both seem like the tough guy type that would've bullied people like us in primary school.

There was a nerd from the chess club and band kid in front of me in the cafeteria line and only one slice of pizza left. Only one of us got out of that one alive... Alright, alright I'm done. I won't use that any more...for now.

They had to eat American Stew, and Zaeed got to have pizza. Piiiiiiizzzzzaaaaa.

....Canderious, is that you buddy?! From now on, i'll call him Canderious Pierce! Close. Robin Sachs was in KotOR as Admiral Saul Karath. Huh, makes sense why Kaiden isn't on the SR2.

Hmm. I had started ME1 with a neutral Shepard, and ditto with ME2, but with each playthrough I shifted more to Paragon. I suppose I grew soft. Though I'm not sure I like that the game 'punishes' you, sort of, for not choosing either path in full.

It is pretty annoying that your degree of persuasion is linked directly to how much of a fanatic Shepard is.

Hopefully in ME3, it allows you to act more pragmatic but I've doubt it.

Really though, there are big differences. Canderous and Zaeed look and talk very similar, but Zaeed is much more mercenary. Canderous is deeply ashamed of his mercenary stint, and is much more the honour-code glory-in-battle type.
