So every year I make the thoroughly unwelcome demand, What are your favourite Christmas songs? because I love Christmas songs. (And then I ignore everything you all say and just post my own favourites.) So here are my two big hits so far this year: And sorry for the bad quality - the one on the album is much better...

I was going to post a thread like this
This is one of the variation "Christmas" bands (Mannheim, Trans-siberian) versions of Carol of the Bells, one that has always held my fascination.
Love Johnny Cash's version of "I heard the bells on Christmas Day"

"Die Hard trailer" might not count ;D But "Fairytale of New York" is my favourite, so points there. -- I don't know if I've ever shared a link to this one, but every Christmas I realy, really enjoy listening to Christmas in the Stars, AKA The Star Wars Christmas Album -- the Christmas record consisting entirely of Anthony Daniels talking gibberish while stock music plays and R2-D2 makes beeping noises. Tonight is the night this year! If this one is new to you, I highly recommend it. It's awful (got to love terrible rhymes) but strangely very sweet. Also it features the first ever professional recording by Jon Bon Jovi. Everyone have a cookie (I brought extra for the wookiiee) and check it out. I have an old-fashioned link to the whole album here. And here is the opening number on YouTube. Take it away, Anthony. Is there nothing you'll say no to...

I have some of those. Bells Bells Bells. and Sleighride. And What do you get a wookie for christmas? Yeah! ''Bells, Bells, Bells" is my favourite by far, just for the sheer spectacle of See Threepio attempting to answer the question 'What are Japanese?'. And he also referneces H.G. Wells in there, which is just insane. -- Gorvar - never heard that before -- exalt!

These are all very fine entries.
Although actually I never really cared for 'Stop the Cavalry' for some reason! I'm not sure what it's about I guess.
