Definitely an ironic twist. Sad to see he got himself killed. But he did more in death to undermine his idiotic crusade than he ever did to support it in life. So some good has come out of it at least.

Shouldn't have pulled the pin...Quick recap: this idiot took a gun that he knew had issues, deliberately tried to get it to have a catastrophic failure, and succeeded. Sir Darwin lost this round on account of the idiot's survival, but it did cost said idiot a 600 dollar gun that is no longer in production.

No winners yet, but Sir Darwin is lurking... waiting...
And as a martial artist, I find "organizations" like this to be a blight that must be purged with napalm followed by an orbital bombardment from the nearest convenient dreadnaught...

I have been volunteering at my local library (have to keep in the game somehow!) and I ran across an article about a guy who electrocuted himself. Apparently he was using an industrial lawn mower and his blade hit a utility wire. Instead of calling the power company or at least his boss for solutions to the problem, he decided to unjam it himself, predictably frying himself on the live wire his METAL blade was hooked in.

You can say it was a shocking experience.

I laughed at both MEIM's and Gorvar's comments, mainly because I've had a few brews and they sometimes bring out the sociopath in me.
