Glow's idea for a 2016 X-Files episode #2: Mulder and Scully investigate how a socialist Kenyan Muslim was able to deceive the nation into electing him president.

Only problem with that is about 10% of Americans will thinks it's a documentary rather than fiction.

Also, they should bring back Millennium, but it should just be fourty minutes a week of Lance Henriksen bitching about millennials.

I just started watching the show "Supernatural" - I know, I'm a bit behind the times, seeing as how they're apparently in Season 11 now - but the mood whiplash is impressive! I mean, episodes including scenes that switch from tearjerkers to laughter, it's pretty cool.
And the acting chops of the two lead actors is incredible... just incredible.
I had to giggle at this one scene in Season 2 Episode 2, where Dean is teasing Sam for being afraid of clowns - maybe the humor in the scene is all in the actor's delivery of the lines, but I had a good giggle here:
Dean: You still bust out crying whenever you see Ronald McDonald on the television!
Sam: At least I'm not afraid of flying.
Dean: Planes crash!
Sam: And apparently clowns kill!
And later, in the same episode when Sam calls Dean, and Sam sounds a little 'off' on the phone:
Dean: Hello?
Sam: *slightly out of breath* Hey, man...
Dean: What's the matter, you sound like you just saw a clown... *chuckles*
Sam: Yeah, very funny. *beat* *shrug* Skeleton, actually...
Dean: What, like a real human skeleton?
Sam: In the funhouse...
The actors' dry humorous delivery is fantastic...
Supernatural is a good show, how have I gone 10 years without seeing it??

I just saw that 2nd part....IS REALLY GOOD! I love my Immortal stories! I thought you meant My Immortal the infamous Harry Potter fanfic, there. That'd be an... interesting crossover. But yeah, that two-parter was probably one of the best stories of New Who. This last Zygon episode was pretty good, too. Nice follow-up to Day of the Doctor and Capaldi's speech towards the end was incredible. I'm very pleased with how good Capaldi's tenure is turning out. Also, how great was it they brought the Master back all of one Christmas special after she supposedly died? It's really making up for John Simm's shitty Master only being in two shitty stories five years apart. Really looking forward to the found footage episode next week. Also, is anyone watching Ash Vs. Evil Dead? I haven't actually seen any of the films, but I am a fan of Bruce Campbell, both from his scene-stealing/sandwich-eating cameos in various Spider-Man media and just in general. Anyway, I'm loving it so far. It's hilarious, and the quick pace and shortened run-times are perfect after trying to force myself to watch the recent overlong, tedious Walking Dead premiere.

Fargo: It's got everything, Ersatz versions of Walter and Donny, gangsters reciting Jabberwocky, Fat Damons, you name it.

Re: Tonight's Walking Dead: They can make headshots from everywhere, right? It's astounding how many times they get their man that way. Last week we saved Mr. Drinklepuss from a rope by dangling off the side of a wall pot shotting the zombies that got too close from 30 feet away... this week, we're too slow on the reaction to hit a target that's 6 feet away, stationary, and we're in a prepped and ready stance.

Looks like "the worf Effect" alive and well. Pisses me off in TV as much as it did in the cutscene immunity Kai Leng had in ME 3. If you are going to give your characters unrealistic abilities to shoot back to back headshots they should damn well keep it consistent. Failing that, find another way to make your characters fail short of forgetting which end of the gun bullets come out of.
