Thank you Clint for writing this. I enjoyed it even if I did not always comment with specific feedback. It must be kinda hard to release it chapter by chapter. It was a little hard for me to read it that way. When I read Mock Effect, the whole thing was already done and I ate it in about an afternoon. I think both were great in different ways and you can see how your personalities came out in it. Good luck with ME 3

I'm planning to release it a single thing (like 1) but not sure how to do that yet. Working on reinstalling things after my reformat.

Congratulations on finishing this, by the way! It's very, very obvious you've worked really, really hard on this thing. I regret that I haven't finished it yet, but the parts I've read have never failed to make me laugh.
Great job, man. =D

Whew! I just finished Mock Effect 2, and it was awesome! I actually got some of the references to other things, too, and my favorite reference was the Firefly/Adam Baldwin/Reegar comparison... I have not actually played ME2 yet as I am still making my way through ME1, but thanks to your comparison between Jayne Cobb/Reegar, I could hear his voice in my head saying "Are you outta your gorram mind??" And I could actually imagine him proudly announcing "I call it Vera!" though I realize that is Jayne's line rather than Reegar's.
The Twilight references made me giggle... I actually do sometimes like the Twilight books (and gods help me, sometimes I have an odd urge to watch the movies - it's my very guilty pleasure) but I can appreciate and laugh my arse off at the "sparkly vampire in the sunlight" bit... (I may like the books, but I can't stand Bella and Edward - odd, how I hate the main characters in a work of fiction that I can like as a series).
Sorry for trundling off topic there - back to Mock Effect 2 - I loved it, it was hilarious, and I loved the attitude John gives Jane even though she's in charge over him... and I loved how Jane kept lamenting that she couldn't do or say what she wanted because she was 'playing paragon', and her reaction when she finally got to tell Tim where to shove it... I had a good giggle over that.
Now that I've read the two Mock Effects, I think I might head deeper into the Fanfiction thread here and see what other gems I can find from you fine writers on this site...
Thank you Clint for Mock Effect 2, and an extended Thanks to Mr Buch once again for Mock Effect 1. You're both awesome! ;D
