Heh, I can't wait for the end of the world party when 2012 hits.
I have to say I'm going to be laughing at the fundies when there aren't any asteroids, earthquakes, blood red lightning bolts, and apocalyptic storms. If there are any... well, might need to stockpile beer, and toast in their fundamental Bible thumping honor.

I'd say 60 Billion is to build the infrastructure is...optimistic? Who will be doing the labour? Chinese kids? Seriously I can't see the material needed being much cheaper than that figure. Then you factor in 20 years labour... Hmmm... Wages alone would be in the billions depending on how many folks involved. There would be needed safety precautions and hazard pay. The materials needed would be beyond ridiculous and I would be very curious as to how the vehicle could be recovered for return to the ground.

Cool.
It kinda shows that in the first game at least shit was thought out really well. It seems to have slid backwards a bit since but still, props to Drew for his world building.

I wonder if ME3 went down the drain (end-wise at least) because Drew Karpyshyn left the project.

The thing about organizations such as the Anti-Defamation League is that they can't seem to collectively comprehend modern jokes, no matter how riske' they may seem.

That's the problem with Leagues. If you focus all your efforts on a single, specific goal, you get short-sighted.
Chris Buchanan, mixing metaphors like a cuisinart since before it was cool.
