Sorry, caveman, I didn't realise you meant right away. I've locked down that one you started, just for now. I know its amusing, but we don't want too much silliness all at once. We can pick it up at a later date, once the dust has settled from the last one. Give everyone a chance to get some real fanfic in; the daftness detracts from the sensible fics. [/ramble]

I have to agree - the One Sentence Story is good fun, but it does get updated so much that it stops people from being able to see the regular fanfic. Also- to be honest I am kind of tired of it, for now. But I would like to add to One Sentence Story II after a break. Update- The story is now up on Fanfiction.net. www.fanfiction.net/s/5009590/1/Shepard_Vs_the_WorldI have to say, reading it back, I laughed a lot. And it makes a lot more sense than I expected too - it's pretty easy to follow! It got a review before I had even finished posting it!

Argh! I just noticed that FF.net filtered out the "excsecandlovingit.net" bit from Garrus's line, when they are talking about nuking the extranet... Now it says he can't live without his asari pr0n...

Now it says he can't live without his asari pr0n... WHAT! Anyway I just reread it and it amazingly does make sense all though it is weird. I love the line in the introduction "It has drama, humour, tragedy, love and loss, and teletubbies." because yet again amazingly it does have all that stuff. Looking forward to more reviews.

I should have added action to that list. I will go and find a way around the ex-c-secandlovingit problem now. I had the same problem when I posted my 'Mock Effect' for the first time. I was so touched when that line was added to our story by the way. That you remembered that. --- Okay it's fixed. And some lunatic who shall remain nameless just added it as a 'favourite story'

When I read the ex-c-secandlovingit part I just loved it and I always think of that when I see Garrus in game beside the Mako. Also because of this story will any of you guys think about the characters differently. Like I'll wish that Captain Anderson could be in my party or the whole Udina/Benezia thing. And I'll never look at Requisitions Officer the same again. And for that lunatic that added this story as a favorite story... really I mean it wasn't that good

The reviewer "The Odd Little Turtle" gets half a cookie for saying who first said the line from Shepard at the end, but they haven't said when and why it was said.

Beethoven? It's kind of strange to see a quote attributed to a composer.
...
I just looked it up on google. I hope I come up with something that good.

Beethoven was well known for his mood swings due to his incresing deafness in his later life. Before the condition came along, he's used to be a cheerful and optimistic composer, so I guess that's what Rascarin is aiming for, both happy and bittersweetness in the story, I suppose.
