Ok, this is my first, ever I'm not done, however I'm showing it to see the reactions, good or bad. As of now, I just want to play a little more Mass Effect instead of writing. (I wrote all day) The expected final chapter number would be about 7-10 there's a lot going on in this story, so it will air something like a TV showI'll bet that there will be at least one spelling error, if you do find one, tell me. First 3 Chapters 18 April 2009.20 April 2009 Chapter 4 Added. Hehe Unscheduled Shipment By Caveman Chapter I Another Day At Work The lights glowed dimly trough the windows overlooking the Presidium as the transport jumpers flew by his view, the room had no lights on, but the light from the Presidium made the whole room lit up, Jarrod, Jarrod Walker, a normal built human in his late 30s with a medium short cut dark brown hair, it almost looked like it was black, though he didn't care. The big “swoosh” sound from the transport jumpers made him realize he was standing only in his boxers, he felt the breeze from the air condition starting as scheduled. “6.10 AM powering up” he heard the AC in a monotone female voice, he looked at the clock, 6.10 AM local time, he waited a moment and put his pants on and walked out of the chilly room. “Door open...” he said, the big black tinted glass wall split in half as he walked down the kitchen and in to the colored bathroom, damn he thought, the floor was ice cold... as always...
The saw himself on the wall mirror, he looked and bent forward and zoomed in on his beard “Nice” he commented, he pressed the square mirrors surface, a wave of white light spread across the surface and the mirror moved straight to the left as the base of the square box was left, he took his toothbrush and started brushing.
* * * Jarrod walked in down the wards in his C-sec uniform, proudly smiling to people he went by. “Another day at work” he said whispered quietly and nodded proudly, he came directly from the Presidium elevator and walked down the stairs to the “Citadel Security Academy” area as he passed by the transport jumpers he saw three Volus laughing so hard they all looked up on the roof simultaneously as someone did a joke, he waved but didn't get a response. “Wait up!” he heard someone say with a flanged voice behind him as he walked down the corridor to the C-sec elevator. He turned and looked back, a turian he noticed, but he did not have a C-sec uniform by the looks, he looked anxious and young. “Hello, my name is Laven.” said the anxious turian and smiled “Oh, I'm Jarrod.” he responded quickly and questionably. “So you're a C-sec officer.” Laven happily asked “Uhm, yes.” Jarrod answered “So what brings you here” he added “I'm here to see if I graduate as an C-sec officer.” the turian said proudly “Oh” Jarrod responded with a congratulatory smile as he pressed the button for the C-sec elevator. The turian nodded happily as they both went in into the elevator. The was a bit of rumble in the elevator and no one had said anything during the whole trip, as the shuttle starting to slow it's descend and the sound of deceleration became familiar. The elevator doors opened and the both went out and continued to walk down the corridor. “Well hope you get your graduation Laven.” Jarrod said with a friendly smile “Yeah Thanks, have a good day you too.” Laven answered as they both went their separate ways.

Chapter II New Blood Jarrod was sitting in his office, it wasn't big, but enough room for a desk with a data terminal. The room was grey, like the metal it was made from, there was little furniture in the room, he checked the extranet for mails, he had 2 unread mail one was a weekly mail from the Alliance, as him nearly most of the human C-sec officers have done military service in the Alliance. Jarrod who was almost 39 years old soon, had been in the Alliance for almost 14 years, but he left after that, he just got tiered of sitting around in a ship or patrolling an empty horizon of never ending heat back at Eden Prime though it wasn't hot there, but in the heavy armored suit it could get boiling when patrolling long distances, besides he thought he might do better for the people in Council space on Citadel security. He removed the Alliance weekly mail, but however there was a mail from someone he did knew, his boss, Gillich, he opened the mail “ Hello Detective Jarrod. As you may know today is C-sec letting loose yet another generation of apprentices that will graduate as Officers. As your boss I've let 10 of my detective's to take care of one student each, and I know you rather work alone, but this comes down from the top, every other C-sec department has their hands full, so I will assign Laven Jousten as your pupil to get a head start and learn something on his carrier as a detective.
Gillich Out.” He got a sigh at the end of the letter, Jarrod always prefer working alone but still leastwise he had already met Laven. He grunted, “well time to head down to the C-sec Academy.” he said for himself, he shut his data terminal down, got up and started walking from the room. * * * Down at the “Academy” he walked in and could see Gillich standing on a scene having a speech, Gillich was a black turian, he had a sense of aggression in his face, the plate-like skin in his face was red-brown with some minor white and light blue stripes. “But he was a happy man.” Jarrod thought in his mind, and then some freaky Japanese cartoon came up smiling in his mind. Then got his focus back on the speech. “Now I present these students as official C-sec officer's and detective's!” he heard Gillich say He could hear different people in the audience cheer and clap their hands of happiness.
Jarrod stood there for a while, looking for Laven there was a crowd in the middle of the big hall though Jarrod stood outside it was leastwise 150 people hugging and congratulating their new officers and detectives. Jarrod noted the door open to the big hall, an Asari stepped in it was Feira, Jarrod flush up, he automatically started smiling but he tried to stop, but his mouth had his own mind. “Stop smiling, stop smiling” he said to himself in his thoughts Feira wasn't like every Asari, she was very dark blue, had black stripes along the folded skin on her head, there was no painting or tattoos in her face only purple freckles around her face, she looked young and she was only 216 years, still quite young for an asari, she had a light armored blue suit with a pistol on her hip.
Jarrod was acting serious though he most at the time he always put in a joke in all the most unpredictable and worser situations. “Hey!” he said softly “Hi.” Feira answered “So, you also got a puppet to take care about?” Jarrod told her with a smiling grin “Yeah, it's not that fun really, I have a lot to do I'm in the middle of an case and I might found some evidence to discover the identity of the murderer.” She said.
Jarrod also remembered her a little more English accent, though not completely English, but easy enough to hear the difference between some words. He answered with a bit of an irritating voice: “Yeah, sounds like work is going by slower than usual now” Then he quickly added “You know Grodnar, the krogan C-sec up at office 2, department 5, he got so angry when his pupil asked so much questions about how to file a report the pupil got a data terminal up is ass.” There was a second of silence then Feira burst into some kind of death laugh, she nearly fell down, then Jarrod started to laugh at Feira's laugh. From the point of Gillich's view it looked like two drunk persons who couldn't stand up straight. They laugh for a while and Feira was catching her breath “You know, Jarrod, that pupils name is Hjolnar.” the asari said but being interrupted by her laugh, then she calmed down again “he works in the room next to me haha.” and then both burst into laugh again. They both smiled as the laugh turned into silence.
Now he could see person coming towards him, it was Laven he had a faint smile on his face and Jarrod's check turned red again. “Well, thats my pupil” Jarrod said while facing Feira but focusing on Laven Laven walked towards them in a calm and slowly taken his small steps. “Uh oh, here comes the newbie.” she answered in a teasing sound. “Hello Jarrod.” Laven started “Hi Laven, so you're my pupil.” “Yes.” Laven answered. “Okidoki, I'll leave you guys alone, I gotta go looking for my apprentice.” Feira said and left the new partners.
“Well Con-” Jarrod was just about to say when his communicator beeped “Jarrod?, this is Gillich, I've got a new case for you, get your and your partners ass down to the Chora's den, there's been a shoot-out” Jarrod heard from his communicator “Alright boss, I'll get right to it” Jarrod replied.

Chapter III Blood, Bullets And Bodies Jarrod and Laven both exited the transport jumper, as they both got out a Turian C-sec officer approached them. “Look, Gillich wants this discreet, we're conducting some blood samples right now but the place is a mess, follow me” the turian officer said seriously and pointing towards Jarrod. The three C-sec officers went along the walk way in the wards, there was some transport jumpers flying by below them as the walked towards Chora's den.
Laven already saw the bullet holes outside on the wall like someone had stormed the place and the strip light who was forming like an asari sitting down was off, there was some scorched markings under the light. “What does those come from” Laven said an pointed at the heavy scorched area “It indicates that people have been using incendiary rounds, which I will tell you is strictly illegal on the civilian market” Jarrod said with a professional tune. “Right...” Laven said in a confusing way
When the come in, there are obvious marks that there have been a firefight here, there where bodies lying on the ground, some human and some turian, none of them had any armor on them, but there was one who was armored, heavy armored. There was two human, four turains and one volus C-sec officers in the room, the volus was investigating something with his omni-tool, the two humans looked like from where Jarrod stood discussed how this happened and the 4 turians was checking the other bodies.
Jarrod look at that body, looks like a Jormangund Technology Crisis X armor and that body had an assault rifle with it, which did not look familiar, Jarrod just stared at it for a while, then he walked towards it, it's obvious his one that was storming the place, in direction he was lying in and where in the room he was, the red light from the circular room was annoying for Jarrod and the smoke in the air was making him uncomfortable in the room. The C-sec officer quickly said, “Theres no trying on identifying that assault rifle, I've already tried.” Jarrod was crouched by the body and turning his face against Laven, who stood behind him. “I've seen one of these before, but why come they don't show up in the firearms database.” Jarrod said “Well, every registered weapon manufacturers should, so either this one is modified from an existing or is built by some private arms dealer.” the turian C-sec officer replied. There was a moment of silence, “Wait a second.” Jarrod said and took up his communicator.
* * * Laven stood by seeing Jarrod dial a number not known to Laven “Alliance Com Center.” a female voice said from the communicator. “This is Detective Jarrod Walker, I need to speak with Admiral Hackett, Fifth fleet.” “Wait a second, I'll see if his available.” the woman replied. “Okay, transferring you to Admiral Hackett.” the woman added. “Hackett here, what is it?” a deep, grumbling and older male voice came from the speaker on the communicator “It's Jarrod, Hey long time no see, I'll need some help from you, I'm in a case, investigating a firefight down at the wards on the citadel, however there is a weapon here that won't get identified in the database, I'll snap a pic with my communicator.” Jarrod spoke into the comm. There was a brief moment of silence. “Hm, isn't that one of the new asari prototype weapons, designed to be used with asari commandos?” Hackett replied. “Yes, so did I!” said Jarrod. “Commander/Spectre Shepard has one of those if I'm no not mistaken, I'll see if I can get a manufacturer ID from him.”
“OK, but if this guy had one, it's likely his was from a bigger and deeper organized groups.” Jarrod said. “I'll call you later once I get some more info, Hackett out.” then there was a sudden beep on the communicator.
Jarrod raised up and turned to Laven and the other turian and started speaking “Laven, you and I are going to see the counselor, Keep me informed if you find anything new.” “Got that.” the turian C-sec officer said Jarrod walked with rushed and heavy steps towards the exit door in Chora's den.
EDIT: Fixed spelling and some minor stuff

Chapter 4 Blue Truth Jarrod and Laven stood a long time in the Presidium tower elevator, it was a long ride. When they came up Laven said. “Is this really going to get us some answers?” Jarrod responded with quick. “Yes.”
As they walked they came to the last stairwell, the asari counselor was waiting for them as they walked into the platform. Jarrod took up his omni-tool and made the picture of the unknown assault rifle into a hologram. “This is what we discovered” Jarrod said in a confronting way. “Hm...” the asari counselor said and nodded. “Is this the prototype weapon you issue your commandos?” Jarrod asked. “Yes, Its only being issued for field testing, we don't know the true capability of this weapon, the weapon is currently not marked with any insignias or manufacturer logos, the weapon is clean as there is some safety issues with having a marked prototype assault rifle” the asari said with a confident voice. “Why, are they no markings” Levan added. “Because if this weapon is stolen or somehow acquired illegal there is a chance the manufacturer could be attacked and have more prototype weapons like this stolen, it would case a mass disaster, these weapons are not to be used regularity in normal situations, the power of these weapons could take down entire small vessels and ships”
“Great!” both Laven and Jarrod said simultaneously in angry and sarcastic way. Then Jarrod added. “But this just prove something went to hell, that human must have somehow gotten his hands on this, we need to know what manufacturer it is and where they are located!” “Well I suppose it wouldn't hurt in this situation, the name is “Serrice Council” an asari manufacturer in Thessia, the asari homeworld” the conselor said with a little disappointment” “Well, guess were taking the nest ride there” Jarrod said. Jarrod turned and walked away. It took some seconds for Laven to understand that Jarrod wasn't there anymore. “Wait up!” he said while turning and started jogging.
Jarrod and Laven walked down the stairs while Jarrod started talking. “Okay, Laven you head down to the academy and get a sub-space tracking monitor and markers, load up them in a bag, then take the my and your issued medium armor and put them in my bag, if you want you can try to see if you can acquire an V or higher grade assault rifle from the armory.” Jarrod Ordered. “Okay, what will you do?” Laven replied. “I'll get two tickets to Thessia and a hell of a firepower, meet me in the transport bays dock 45” he said in a quick tone as Laven understood and started running to the quick elevator going right to C-sec. * * * “Have a great day to you officers!” the ticket vendor said and smiled, she was a blond human what looked to be in her middle 20s, Jarrod saw Laven stood and had a smiling grin while blocking the entire line. “SNAP OUT OF IT!” Jarrod screamed, Laven jumped a bit, reacting to the loud voice coming in front of him. “Sorry, Sir” came with a little shame from Laven. “We don't have time to admire girls, you can do that on Thessia” Jarrod said with a evil smile. They both got a funny grin, as they walked down the hall to the transport hall that led into the transport ship “Valkyrie” who was taking them to Thessia.
As they sat down, he heard a beep on this Personal communicator, Jarrod answered. “It's Hackett” the grumbled voice that Laven recognized. The man in the comm starting to talk. “The Manufacturer is Serrice Council, an as-” The man was interrupted by Jarrod. “We know, just get me the name on that model” “... Raven XV” Hackett responded, “Good, me and Laven are going to Thessia now” “Roger, Hackett out” and the comm went off. “Strap youself in the take off and landings always get a bit bumpy” Jarrod said.
