Some of them are pretty silly. Perp: What evidence d'you got that I choked that girl with a rope? Cole: Erm... (Shows bloody rope.) Perp: If you got nothin', then let me go. Cole:

I was replaying "The Fallen Idol" today to get a five star rating, and I don't know how many times I had to restart to catch out that fat porn guy! Apparently the check for $20,000 that Cole marked "Blackmail" in his notebook doesn't count as evidence of blackmail!

You need to reuse the empty film case to get it working. I know, it's wierd but it works.
Afterwards it leads up to a new question and I'll let you decide for that.

The Witcher 2 had one:
There is an enemy called a Nekker in the game, and the book you have to read to learn about them is called "Nekkers in the Mist" ;D
Apparently CD Projekt are fans of old school hip-hop.

There was a part in The Witcher 2 that had me laughing pretty good. These men were about to be hanged in the middle of an excited crowd in Flotsam. Geralt steps in to put a stop to it, asking what the men were being charged with. The guard replies, "For participating in debauchery."
Then the whole lynch mob suddenly wakes up to what they're cheering for, and one of them says, "Debauchery is one of my favorite pastimes, and I wouldn't want a noose around my neck for it!"
The shift from morbidity to comedy was awesome.

Let's not forget the wonderful things the prostitute had to say about the guard's...performance.

This is an old one from Halo 3 in Mission 2. Marine: Hey, open up! Voice : Password, please. Marine: You gotta be kidding me! What password? Voice: The password so we don't open the door for Brutes. Marine: Do I sound like a Brute to you?! Voice: Well, you could be held prisoner by Brutes. Marine: If I was held prisoner by Brutes and knew the password, then the Brutes could just force me to tell you the password and you'd open the door for them. [Brief pause] Voice: Okay, well now I'm definitely not gonna open the door. Marine: But we need ammo! Voice: Well why don't you go ask your Brute buddies, then? www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlGr_vdxKlc&feature=player_embeddedEven in the face of alien apocalypse, some men do their duty to the extreme u.u

Right, so after Cole witnesses an old friend die at the Hollywood post office, one of the cops at the scene pops out with "I wonder if we'll see any action today" lines. LOL

Question: Why does Cole always shout at people that he's LAPD? Seriously you could have a lot more therapeutic beatdowns and less frustrating car chases if he hemmed and hawed a little

Isn't it the law or something? (Besides, I like car chases, even if I do cause a lot of collateral damage.)

From a legal standpoint, yeah, you're supposed to identify yourself as a police officer so they can't claim ignorance.
But yeah, it can get distracting, especially if he's shouting it indoors only three feet away from the guy. They all probably run because they're genuinely spooked.

I get that he has to announce it, but does he have to do it to every schmo who has an idling car within easy reach when he's 20 feet away?
I Hate Car Chases.
