Cole Phelps as Hamlet in the final Traffic case in L.A. Noire. 'nuff said.

That was so unexpected. I loved the blank stares he got from everyone. xD

Is that the final part? I don't think I've seen it yet but the beginning of the investigation made me chuckle when he cited the lines from Hamlet, before he jokingly asked about the fake shrunken head evidence as "ruling out as a murder motive".
Also how his partner got turned down, despite telling the witness that he was a big fan of "The Beast."
One other thing, I like how the actual conclusion of the very first case in "Traffic". Let's just say that Cole got the "instigator" under arrest for being an idiot and annoying the police force big time...

No, it's the bit at the start where Carruthers gives Cole the shrunken head. I just thought it was hilarious how quickly he went from being a hard-nosed investigator, to clowning around, and then knocking it off again.
I'm also finding Rusty Galloway quite funny, in an ironic, sexist dinosaur kind of way. Does he have a vendetta against husbands or something?
Oh, and in my game, a bank robber blew Cole's hat off with a Thompson, only for Cole to calmly shoot him in the face and pick his hat back up. I loved that.

Seems like in my version of the game... my hat is always being victimise at every turn., Being shot at, punched off, etc...

For some reason, keeping my hat on during a fight for that achievement was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do! xD

The Broderick (the Amazon pre-order suit that boosts Cole's abilities in fistfights) actually came in handy for that achievement. I eventually took a liking to it, and am making Cole go through the entire Vice arc in his old man blazer. You know who doesn't have to worry about his hat getting knocked off, though?

Keeping the hat on was actually fairly easy. I did it today with the little fight you get in on the Dahlia case.
I got a laugh off of Rusty too, since as I'm driving to Belmont School (Mallow Case) he's SURE that Mallow did it and we can throw away the key. Then as we drive away from the school having caught the creep, he's SURE the creep did it. LOL

Sure, Rusty is sexist... but his character is played for laughs and... I find it very amusing.
I'm going to miss that guy when I'm starting on Vice Desk.

Speaking of L.A. Noire, has anyone else accused a suspect of lying, only to realise you don't have the right evidence and back out? It has to lead to some of the funniest moments in the entire game.
Cole: YOU'VE BEEN TORCHING BUILDINGS AND WE BOTH KNOW IT, NOW CONFESS! Perp: What proof do you have? Cole: (looking down at the ground sheepishly) Uh, sorry. Nothing personal.
