Although perhaps not as potentially amusing as the Pet Peeves thread, this is the place to share all the random tiny little things that you love. I love seeing our neighbour cats first thing in the morning! The lady in the apartment next to mine has two cats, and sometimes leaves her door open in the morning so they might take a walk around the building. I mew to them when I see them (but they're too blasé to mew back XD). Then there's the street cats (habitually fed by people living here): Our unofficial resident cat that sleeps in the plant pots outside the main entrance (she's very sweet and cuddly). An old, OLD fluffy cream-coloured cat called Love, belonging to an equally old lady but spending her day outside the flower shop downstairs. The rest I don't know too well, they're mostly skittish; there is one small black one whom I call the Spindly Cat. She's a mum now, but I've no idea where she's hidden her kits. For a person who never owned cats (just dogs and hamsters), I love them too much!

I love it when a story ends well.

That'a a nice song ;D
And I like this thread, too. There did used to be a similar one, as an antidote to 'Pet Hates'... it's high time we got back to the positive side of things.
I love watching cheesy movies and anime with my brother. We MST3K them to death.

Me and my sister do the same thing whenever my other sister visits and watches soaps, Big Brother or the like, it normally ends with her telling us to shut up.
I have a little tradition that I've been observing for a few years, every Saturday, I get up at 6 AM, makes some tea and toast, play Oblivion for an hour, then go back to bed.

Glow, that's surely a strange habit! Has been going on for years, you said? You must have really cool morning dreams!

That IS a wierd, but cool habit, Glow!
Clint: By MST3K I mean 'riffing' / making silly jokes and mocking a movie as we watch it. As in the show 'Mystery Science Theater 3000' or the modern version 'Rifftrax'.

There was a thunderstorm in the afternoon. A little after it stopped, I went out on the balcony -- and there was this: It was stretching westwards to form a complete semicircle, but I couldn't get a nice shot of that (buildings on the way). Looking at the photo, there seems to be a second rainbow I hadn't noticed before!

LOL Glow, your Oblivion mornings sound awesome.
Hmm. I love wearing warm clothes fresh out of the dryer. Seeing as how it's rare our university dryers get anything completely dry, it's doubly awesome to know you've found the machine that's having a good day. ^_^

I love hot chocolate.
Just like Lando Calrissian.

I will kill for this: Death By Cheesecake, Courtesy of GodivaYou *really*, truly do NOT want to know just how much fat is in each slice! A friend of mine gave me two of them a few years ago for after surviving a 6 hour ultramarathon. They did not last long. For non-chocolate cheesecakes, I have yet to find a company that can outdo Alden Merrell up in Mass.

I'm in love with the view from your balcony. That's because I cropped the ugly buildings at the bottom of the picture! XD But I love it too. It's a tiny flat on the fifth floor, bought precisely for its view of Mt. Hymettus. If I lean out from the railing a bit, I can see the Saronikos gulf to the south, and on days with a clear sky (rare!) the island of Aegina further away. In the midst of the hectic mess than Athens is, it's very calming.

I should take a snap of the view from my front verandah. There's no water, but it's pretty nice.
