Nonononono, there has to be drawing before it is poorly drawn. I don't recall seeing any drawings in that last one. Partially finished mental patient stick figures maybe. But no drawings.

I guess I've finally arrived at the age where I just don't 'get' the new comedy.
The age is 27, people.

Look what I found! www.delilahdirk.com/I loved this comic to bits. Beautifully drawn, sufficiently preposterous, adventures galore. (And it features Constantinople, too. ;_;) Ooh, I just started reading that from your link there - that is awesome! I love the artwork, and the story so far...

Nice, I'll read that later when I get the chance. At the moment I'm reading "Tales from the Middle Kingdom". Which based around the "Romance of the Three Kingdom" novel. I have to say the artwork really suits it. You can start here: middlekingdomtales.com/2010/04/01/p1-beginning/

I'm about 10 pages in right now, and I have to say, this is pretty good! I played one or two of the Dynasty Warriors games back in the day (boy, did they appeal to my love of cheesiness), so I have a vague idea of the novel/history it's based on. I think this might be my sort of webcomic.

I'm up to Chapter 2 at the moment and this reminded why I've used to enjoyed bedtime stories as a kid, when my mum was retelling the story about "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" every night.
And the artwork reminds me of Lone Wolf and Cub, but the style is much more authetic for the setting. It's rare to find comics drawned in sumi-e style.

Found a really good one. If you can ignore the "furry" elements. (Can't we just look at it as talking animals instead?) It's called Lackadaisy. It's setts around in the 1920s, where the probation period was happening and it's about one of the gangster factions that were struggling to keep their Speakeasy business afloat after the death of the original owner of the said speakeasy. It does have a noir tone to it, with good chunk of black humour. And it has... cats. If you don't like cats... well there's dead ones too. Come to think of it, it almost made me want to play Skyrim, as a Khajiit again. You can start here: lackadaisy.foxprints.com/comic.php?comicid=1

Gotta love the Breaking Bad webcomic. (Which is apparently made by Miranda's father?)

The Henry Lawson alone makes this enjoyable.
