I told you I'd have a lot to say about comedy songs Today's spotlight is on Monty Python - pioneers and masters of the comedy song, with particular applause to Eric Idle. Here's one of their annoyingly-intellectually-showoffy songs, but a very funny one- the druken philosophers song. The classic - The masterful 'I've Got Two Legs' And my personal favourite, because it's a perfect parody of my greatest fault and the cause of so many of my problems. Please ignore the annoying, uneccesary video.

Today I'm spotlighting shoeless, eyelinered Australian Tim Minchin, who I love more than some of my friends.
Not really, but I love him. I have linked to a few of his tunes here already - but I think I have not linked these - my favourite of his funny songs.
And here is one that made me so happy - because until I heard it I was constantly doubting my atheism and skepticism because I was scared of becoming closed-minded.

I didn't realize Hugh Laurie was such a good singer.

He really is. Good pianist, guitarist, comedy writer and a great actor. And a handsome devil.

We've mentioned their brilliance before, but The Lonely Island ought to be mentioned on this thread!
That song always jumps into my head when I see Shepard running out of the mine on Therum. Commander Shepard is not cool.

The British version of The Office just started airing in America within the last couple of months, and I caught this part of one of the episodes and just started cracking up. It's a catchy song, too! =D

That is great xD
I hope you see now that the original 'The Office' is so much better than the remake.

I dunno. I really like the American remake; it seems more consistently funny and a bit more wacky. Like when Steve Carrel's character had to declare bankruptcy, so he stood up on a box in the office and yelled "I declare bankruptcy!" Also, the British Office didn't have episodes directed by Joss Whedon and J.J. Abrams. >=)
But I do love the British version, don't get me wrong.
