Just play as a black guy or a asian, then you are playing a different race. FYI I always play as a black guy, even in fantasy rpg's since I love the idea of Samuel L Jackson being in Dragon Age, talking jive turkey to some Banns.

The way I see it on the forced-human-playing:
* Human characters are easier to relate to than aliens. * Iconic stuff like the Alliance, the N7s and the Mako are all human-related. * Unlike Dragon Age, where the differences between races amount to Qunari having horns and dwarves not being able to be mages, plus some social stuff, the races in ME all have totally different body types/abilities and even voices. It'd be impossible to account for all that from a narrative standpoint.
Honestly, seeing as how the series thus far has never offered the ability to play a non-human outside of multiplayer, I'm not that bothered by it's absence here.
Also, maybe after Inquisition, EA have learned to just let BioWare make their games. That game was great. Plenty of content, they didn't remove Solas to sell him seperately. It even had some nice free updates!

I'm wondering how humanity got to the Andromeda Galaxy. We're talking 780,000 parsecs just to get from the edge of the Milky Way to the edge of Andromeda. Not even the Relays had that kind of power (for reference, the Milky Way is about 60,000 light years in diameter and one parsec is roughly 3.1 LY).

I'ma take a wild guess and say it's related to Mass Effect/Element Zero.

I'ma take a wild guess and say it's related to Mass Effect/Element Zero. Which I hypothesize (head-canon) is unsustainable due to the instability of Haestrom. My theory is the overuse of dark energy/Eezo disrupts space-time enough that it can rip stars apart after so much eezo is accumulated, hence the Reaper cycle to prevent a potential cascading catastrophe from occurring.

Andromeda should let you take three party members into the field. Dragon Age proved that's optimum for bants.
Also what kind of military vehicle only seats three?

Fuckin' A, Glow. They should also let you take control of party members during combat, too.

Well maybe since they are not going for the iconic savior of all Shepard this time they might allow switching party members. Unless we are looking at a new space Jesus of a different galaxy here. That would get old pretty damn fast I'm thinking.

You should be able to traverse the entirety of the PC's ship without a loading screen too. It'd be really weird if you couldn't when you can go through all of the castle and it's grounds with only ne tiny pause in Inquisition.

One thing that Andromeda unequivocally needs to have:
The insult system from Rockstar's Bully.
You could have race/class based insults to harrass pedestrians with while exploring hub levels, and as your Renegade score gets higher, your insults get more personal, aggressive and soul-destroying.
Basically that feature is possibly like my favourite thing in any game ever, and I'm sad it isn't replicated more.

I want more interactive sex scenes a la Indigo Prophecy if you ask me. Really be part of the cinematic experience, ya dig? And since Gaider left Bioware, EA can hire David Cage for his sexy French shenanigans.

Oh man, the shitstorm is going to be great if that happens. It will like ME1 all over again, but this time Fox News would have even more damning evidence on hand this time!
