Fisk is shaping up to be one of my favorite villains in Television. Really, really liking this show.
And Stick. Holy fuck, what a badass. Just when I thought Scott Glenn didn't have it in him anymore.

Season 2 oughta have a Spidey cameo episode, and get this, as he and Matt fight alongside each toher, they play a combined version of Bring Me To Life and Nickelback's Hero.

You bastard, reminding me of the existence of the ben Afleck Daredevil and Nickelback in the same post.

The last time he tangled with an "American" with a dodgy accent, he didn't end up so good.

I just learned from my American Psycho rewatch that that scene in Daredevil where Matt throws a fire extinquisher down a stairwell onto a Russian thug's head is a direct reference to American Psycho, where Bateman does the same with a chainsaw and a prostitute.
Nice.

Also, rewatching thebits and pieces of the first season, it's really impressive how good and how critically acclaimed Daredevil was. I feel like it's a big step forward for comicbook adaptations.
Also, if the first episode of Jessica Jones isn't titled The Bitch is Back, I'm just gonna file that under Massive Missed Opportunity.

Did anyone see Daredevil wasn't nominated for the Best Drama Emmy but the absolute shitshow that is House of Cards was?

Hey now, House of Cards is pretty good. This season has been the worst of them, but it still had its moments.

Yeah, it aced its last few seconds quite a few times. The 2nd season finale where Frank taps the desk with glee? Nice. I think they felt they had to up the ante this season, and some of it they did well, but most of it was kind of ridiculous. A cheap soap opera trick. "I'm leaving you, Frank!" And the way Doug handled his problem was utter nonsense. But the Petrov plot had weight, and the nomination race was exciting to watch, which is saying a lot for nomination races.
