I have only seen a couple of episodes. I had to look it up. Matt's partner reminds me of Jack Black. Weirdly in a good way.

Now you can rewatch Season 2 of Breaking Bad or Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23 to get hype for Jessica Jones.

This is also the perfect time to start watching The Flash. You've got a good 20 episodes to binge watch, it's an incredibly fun show, sort of the tonal polar opposite of Daredevil, but still really enjoyable.
Or do a rewatch of Daredevil in Blind Matt Murdock Mode. Just close your eyes and put the audio descriptions on.

I just got to the scene in Episode 11 where Wesley "Interviews" Karen. Very surprising.

Season 1 spoilers: Fisk's totally gonna need some new blood in Season 2, isn't he? All of his crew got killed off/went to go star in Iron Fist.

Watched a few more episodes of Daredevil - this show is amazing!
I love the banter between Foggy and Karen... they are both adorable!
And is it weird that Vanessa creeps me out slightly more than Fisk himself does? I mean, with Fisk, you know he's a powerful man who does bad things / has people do bad things for him, but... with Vanessa... just what is her deal? She knows he's not a Good Man, and she's into him anyway? What's up with that? Does she see past his badness and see the good deep deep down inside, or something? Or is it more of a "Pretty Girls Want Bad Boys" thing, where she's attracted to his power?
Weird... but I will say that Vincent D'Onofrio is awesome as Fisk... just awesome. That man can play any role - I have never yet seen him in a role where he did not totally convince me that he IS that person...

Lily was pretty sketchy about this show until today. She walked in while I was watching the tail end of ep 3 and was curious enough to give it another shot. We finished ep 6 a little while ago.
High quality stuff. Fisk is an interesting and terrifying villain.

Love this intro, man.
Also the coolest one shot I've seen in some time.

That fight scene was a great example of camera work. I was actually telling Lily that an hour or so before you posted that. Rather than slow shit down to wait for the actors o get into position like a hack would do they were happy to let you not see everything and imagine it. Really slick work.

Man, I will never ever be able to listen to Nessun Dorma again without seeing that awesome scene where the FBI take down so many of Fisk's mooks after Hoffman's revelation! That was amazing, and the following scenes with Vincent D'Onofrio telling the Good Samaritan story in the back of the FBI transport was chilling... especially how his voice goes from pensive and calm to deeper and threatening in one line... "It means that I'm not the Samaritan. That I'm not the priest, or the Levite. That I am the ill intent... who set upon the traveler on a road that he should not have been on!" Vincent D'Onofrio is fantastic, and man, can he cause a bone-chilling shiver with just his words! Bring on Season 2, Netflix!
