I have drawn up a list of demands for Dragon Age 4, which I will shoot into Bioware's head office on an arrow:
1) Solas to be a major character. 2) Scout Harding to be a party member. And yes, David, romanceable. 3) Main plot to involve the return of the elven gods. 4) Shale to show up this time. 5) One major quest to have you fighting alongside the Inquisitor and doing cool stuff with them. 6) Seriously, why not bring the Hero of Ferelden in on that too? 7) Iron Bull, the Divine and Dorian to each make some kind of memorable cameo. 8) Let us visit locations in Antiva and Tevinter. We are now sick of Fereldan. 9) A lower-key story. The world can only be saved from darkspawn so many times per age. 10) Varric and Bianca Davri to finally get some sort of happy ending. Hasn't he suffered enough.
Additions welcome!

* Smaller areas. Make it more Origins-y than a Kingdoms of Amalur dull open area. * Side quests with actual dialogue and choices. No more following corpse letters to a map marker and then Quest Completed * John Barrowman-voiced bow-wielding Rogue companion.

*A return to the fade, where we find *survivor* who warns us of ultimate baddie and is mid game badass party member.
*Get to the bottom of what is going on with the Wardens, weisshaupt or otherwise. (I'm thinking 2nd Major quest)
*A happy mage. Seriously, you people can shoot fire from your fingertips, why are they always so goddamn moody? Dorian's close, but he goes from Snippy to Morose in 5 seconds flat.
* A return to Orzammar / Deep Roads. I loved the concept of the first game that the entire world is accessible through these deep roads.
*Perhaps the utlimate goal could be to find the Elven Gods in the deep roads and (light side) save them or (Dark Side) kill them.
*More Morrigan being a softy to her precious son. Her armor goes down so rarely, it was amazing to see.
*I've not played Inquisitor taking the well of souls yet, but that needs to be of major impact on future stories. A lot of knowledge in that.

1: More brothels. And have a achievement for visiting each and shagging all the patrons. 2: Dwarven romance, like Buch said. 3: Antiva, Anderfels and Kal-Shirok. I really wanna see Kal-shirok. 4: Here is a idea....Solas is the bad guy in the next one. I always liked the idea of after a happy ending friends have to fight each other for their people/faction best intrest in this new brave world. 5; More dinosaurs. 6: Since we are going elven gods (bleh) make the elves more bad ass. Like Iorveth from the Witcher 2. I want to see more skinned shemlen corpses hanging on trees! 7; I wanna see Serault. I spend a week in that place but I wanna see it in 3D.

* They need to stop using "Oh, and they mysteriously disappeared." whenever they can't figure out how to treat characters who's condition can be affected by the player going forward. *A happy mage. Seriously, you people can shoot fire from your fingertips, why are they always so goddamn moody? Dorian's close, but he goes from Snippy to Morose in 5 seconds flat. A happy mage in Dragon Age is probably as rare as a happy X-Man. Awakening Anders is the closest we got, and look what happened to him. 7; I wanna see Serault. I spend a week in that place but I wanna see it in 3D. It would be hilarious if they were able to program the Marquis to be some sort of borderline bipolar character who's constantly disappearing from their throne room to play games with pig farmers, chat up dowagers or go on boar hunts before collapsing in exhaustion.

Kudos to Gorvar for being the first person to notice that Inquisiton is the first game not to feature a brothel. I think that says a lot about you.
I'm all in favour of going back to the Deep Roads / Orzammar, though. I miss the city. And I'd like to see how the choice of King changed it.

I'd be so happy if we could visit Serault! *A return to the fade, where we find *survivor* who warns us of ultimate baddie and is mid game badass party member. Yes to this! I would also love to go to Tevinter and the Anderfels (if only to straighten out the wardens).

Pretty sure DA4 will have a Elven shield user and a Qunari mage, because those are the only class/race combos they haven't done for party members.
Also Leliana and/or Cullen'll be party members, travelling with the PC to investigate the Inquisitior's narratively convenient Mysterious Disappearance.
I'd like the game to be set in the Anderfels/Tevinter/Antiva, with the party using the mirrors to get about. No building an organization this time, it should just be a ragtag bunch of warriors travelling the world. A city hub with lots of areas and sidequests like Denerim would be nice.
Maybe a sentient Darkspawn companion?

Having just run down the last high dragon and being a bit disappointed by the challenge it provided, I really hope the inevitable story DLC has:
* An incredibly strong high dragon that provides a ton of loot.
or
* A homage to Awakening where you have to fight two or even three high dragons at the same time to get into the final dungeon. Bull is obviously thrilled about this.

I hate dragons. Especially the one in the hissing wastes. GET BACK HERE YOU COWARD!

That one was a fucking wimp. Though I accidentally killed the toughest dragon in Emprys Du Lion like 3rd or 4th, so all of them were a bit of a letdown after that. Especially because I made a dragon-resistant dragon leather coat from it.

Accidentally how? "Whoops, I meant to use this iceberg on Corypheus, but I dropped it while going over your little Colosseum?"
If I ever get done with Mock Effect, I kind of want to write "The Ballad of Harold (the Herald)"

DA4 should have gambling minigames, as well. Like Liar's Dice or Poker in Red Dead Redemption. Maybe you could play Wicked Grace, or the DA version of Chess, or a re-jiggered fantasy Pazaak?
It might make the openworld areas a tad less monotonous if there were little inns littered around them where you could gamble, get drunk and bang whores.

I to would like Bioware to rip off more things from the Witcher. They already did with the Grey Wardens to some degree.
