I find that Bethsoft rarely announces a new ES game until it's well past the halfway mark.
ESO, which actually seems to not be a bad game at all already had my top contender for a region which was Summerset Isles. So I think it really should be Black Marsh or Elsewyr.

The only thing is they're putting out that Starbound game first, which is rumoured to be similar to a Fallout/Elder Scrolls game in scope and is apparently only just playable.
I think they only announced it now so Todd didn't have to look like a weenie going out on stage with nothing but a teaser trailer and Elder Scrolls: Mobile Shit.
Anyway, I still vote Hammerfell. Would be nice to have a game set in a nice flat desert so we're not constantly trying to run up mountains.

Wasn't Arena set in Hammerfell? They seem to be going for this magical mystery tour of Cyradil so I'm expecting a new region.

I have to admit, that given as ugly as Morrowind was, there is little doubt in my mind that Arena made Morrowind look like The Witcher 3 by comparison.

Real talk, the Elder Scrolls began at III. I... I mean, I haven't played much of Arena or Daggerfall, but isn't it true that what most people would now consider an Elder Scrolls game was codified by Morrowind?
