Did Kim Jung Un mishandle you during your childhood or something, dude?

He mishandles everyone just by speaking.
Though in all honesty, it's amusing how cartoonishly immature he is.

That's probably likely to happen, actually. Weren't some government documents regarding China's plans to take over Pyongyang leaked recently?

Doesn't help they're threatening war over that new movie "The Interview". Makes me wonder if they're aware of Team America.

Probably best if they don't. By most accounts the life of a north Korean is bad enough without tossing in the (further) rationing that a war with the south would bring. Pretty sure the military is calling the shots there with Kim Jong Un only being a figurehead.
China would probably be doing them a favor by taking over, but the nutcases there would probably put up a fight. By many accounts they are not seeing eye to eye at the moment.

The interesting thing about Korea is the little fact that the Korean War never really ended. It's just been on pause for the past 60+ years. I truly feel bad for the poor bastards who have to live there (North Korea). One fairly recent incident really sticks in my mind. Back when I was in the airport waiting for my flight to go to boot camp, North Korea decided to shell the fuck out of some South Korean islands that are outside of the DMZ. My first thought was "oh shit, here we go" and I truly thought the war would heat up again.

From what I've heard, the South Korean government didn't want to risk full-on war with a retaliation. But I've also heard the South Koren citizenry is getting tired of the North's bullshit. Interesting times ahead.

One of my co-workers is originally from South Korea.
Interesting insights. Their military has shit for moral, being a conscription based military system that pays peanuts due to it being mandatory. They have entire groups that look for and and punish deserters. At the same time they have little fear that the North will actually do anything major. I kinda got the sense that they thoroughly expect the rest of the world to fight their battle for them. Not very cool in my opinion but to be expected given that that is the expectation we set for them.
